Tasteful light: Two different types of spotlights were used in the MOVE IT 25 track system in the redesigned restaurant Mühltalhof: JUST 45 and JUST 32 FOCUS. The former illuminates the fixed furniture: the stone counter, the wall panelling, the fireplace, and all the furniture at the edge of the room. The JUST 32 FOCUS spots were used to stage the bright table tops as well as the food on them. They function like a camera lens – the focus can be adjusted manually and thus the beam angle can be set. Ventilating later brings heat into the room. - Close blinds, shutters and curtains during the day. - Wear light-coloured, breathable and moisture-permeable clothing. - Eat easily digestible foods such as fruit, vegetables and salads. - Drink at least two to three litres of water, diluted fruit juices or chilled tea throughout the day. Drinks that are too cold put additional strain on the body. - Wet your forearms, wrists and lower legs repeatedly with cold water. The offices of ESB, Ireland's national electricity supplier, are an outstanding example of sustainable design. The main objective of the lighting designers was to create a welcoming, healthy and energy-efficient environment. To achieve this, a neutral lighting solution was used to emphasise the architectural features, with a bespoke solution for ESB. The different variants of the profile luminaires create differently lit spaces that offer a choice of working environments to suit the individual needs of employees. Insbesondere bei größeren Projekten und öffentlichen Ausschreibungen sind Zertifizierungen bereits ein Must-have. Sie zeigen, dass wir als Unternehmen international gültige, hohe Anforderungen und Standards erfüllen. Ende Juni 2024 war das TÜV-Auditor:innen-Team beim Überwachungsaudit sehr zufrieden mit unseren Prozessen und Abläufen und der Art und Weise, wie wir diese in der Praxis leben. Die wertvollen Empfehlungen aus dem Audit setzen wir für die kontinuierliche Optimierung und Weiterentwicklung konsequent um. Damit 2025 bei der Rezertifizierung der Standorte XAL Headquarter Graz und XAL Svetila in Slowenien ein noch makelloseres Audit-Ergebnis erzielt wird. ____________________________________________ Standardised good: ISO certifications as a driver of continuous improvement - for our customers and employees XAL is certified to three standards: ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (health and safety at work). Certifications are already a must-have, especially for larger projects and public tenders. They demonstrate that we, as a company, meet high international requirements and standards. At the end of June 2024, the TÜV auditor team was very satisfied with our processes and procedures and how we implement them during the surveillance audit. We are consistently applying the valuable recommendations from the audit for continuous optimisation and further development. In order to achieve an even better audit result in 2025 when the XAL headquarters in Graz and XAL Svetila in Slovenia are recertified. The most significant tool for the interior and space planning of the new building of WAG Wohnungsanlagen Gesellschaft m.b.H. is the knowledge of human-centered design of INNOCAD, which they have continuously developed in recent years in transdisciplinary collaboration with scientists and experts and which is defined by a variety of biophilic interventions, among other things. For the first time, they are using 13&9 Design's and Fractal Research's scientifically based fractal patterns both as a textile floor and a printed metal ceiling. This combines the exterior and interior into a flowing spatial continuum with a stress-reducing effect.
