Adams Consulting Engineers began in Melbourne in 1991, with a small team of talented structural and civil consulting engineers. Through 25 years of development, Adams has now expanded it’s services nationally with offices in Sydney, Geelong and Ballarat. Since then, we have used engineering expertise, collaboration and advanced technology to bring hundreds of designs to life, from small residential developments to large commercial, retail and health projects. Congratulations to APM Group (Aust) Pty Ltd on this deserving nomination. Adams proudly provided all Civil and Structural Engineering consulting services for the project, including all temporary works designed to allow the ground floor to be fully demolished to add a full basement under the building and a new level added to the roof. Working on such a tight site required regular site inspections and discussions with APM Group and their subbies to carefully coordinate all the site activities and sequences of work. AWARD NOMINATION: 351 ELIZABETH ST APM Group are proud to announce the nomination of 351 Elizabeth St in the Master Builders Association of Victoria Excellence in Construction Awards 2024. Located on the corner of Elizabeth and La Trobe Streets in Melbournes CBD the project comprised the construction of an additional sixth floor atop an existing five level art deco building, the refurbishment and re-fit of levels 2-5 creating new open plan office spaces, the creation of retail space to the ground floor and the expansion of the existing basement. Externally extensive works were undertaken to refurbish and restore the buildings significant facade. Good luck to all the nominees in this category, we look forward in anticipation of a successful outcome at the awards to be held in August.
