Kensington Student Accommodation (KSA) is a visionary response and takes a more considered approach with several urban design gestures fundamentally shaping our architectural response. Key among these, is reinforcing the 4 storey Anzac Parade street wall, unifying the urban fabric with a sensitive scale in keeping with the anticipated character of the neighbourhood, generating minimal overshadowing to neighbouring residential buildings. Internally, the building creates a sense of community and well-being through attractive, comfortable spaces. Lushly planted courtyards at ground and lower levels complement bright, generous recreation areas. KSA is the 8th purpose-built student accommodation project that nettletontribe has completed with Cedar Pacific in Australia. The outcome is a confident but respectful building which responds sensitively to its urban fabric and fosters a strong sense of belonging for the students and meaningful engagement with local community. • Scaling up EV infrastructure requires more than just a commitment to sustainability; it takes strategic planning and risk management to ensure safe, efficient and future-ready installations. Goodman is leading the transition, integrating EV charging across its industrial property portfolio. ACOR worked with them to conduct preliminary risk assessments across 12 sites, optimising charger placement while considering fire safety, electrical capacity and operational needs. By taking a proactive approach, we helped identify the best locations for EV chargers, minimise risks and support Goodman’s long-term sustainability goals. #EVInfrastructure #RiskManagement #Sustainability #ACOR

Installing EV chargers in existing facilities isn’t as simple as plugging in and switching on.   Safety, infrastructure capacity and operational impact all play a role in ensuring a seamless transition, especially when working across multiple sites.   Goodman is leading the way in sustainable logistics and industrial properties, making EV adoption a priority.   At ACOR, we partnered with them to assess the risks and opportunities before installation, ensuring charger placements aligned with safety, efficiency and future scalability.   Here’s what made the difference: 1. Risk mapping: evaluating fire safety, electrical capacity and access. 2. Optimised placement: finding the safest, most efficient charger locations. 3. Tailored recommendations: aligning with Goodman’s sustainability and operational goals.   Goodman’s commitment to EV infrastructure isn’t just about meeting sustainability targets, it’s about smart, future-ready decisions. • Proactive asset management isn’t just a strategy; it’s the key to long-term property performance. Too many portfolios are caught in a cycle of reactive decision-making, addressing risks, sustainability and operational challenges only when they become urgent. But planning ahead delivers better outcomes: lower costs, stronger resilience and assets that meet both market and tenant expectations. Our latest paper breaks down the practical steps to shift from short-term fixes to sustainable, data-driven asset management. Inside, we cover: - How lifecycle planning protects value over time - The role of technology in optimising property performance - Why sustainability is a commercial advantage, not just a compliance measure - Real-world strategies for building resilience Great insights from Adam Reeman and Qaisar Ahmad Ph.D., CAMA, IAM Cert. on why planning, not reacting, is the way forward for property portfolios. Most property portfolios are stuck in a cycle of reaction, fixing problems instead of preventing them.   Risk, sustainability and operational challenges keep piling up, but too often, decisions are reactive instead of proactive.   The result?   Higher costs, missed opportunities and assets that struggle to keep up with market expectations.   There’s a better way. Asset management works best when it’s planned, not patched together at the last minute.   In this new paper, we explore: - How lifecycle planning drives long-term asset performance - The role of technology in smarter property decisions - Why sustainability isn’t just about compliance, it’s about value - Real-world examples of resilience in action   If you manage property portfolios, this is a must-read.   Link to download is in the comments.   #PropertyManagement #AssetManagement #FutureProofing #ProactiveApproach ACOR Consultants
