We are thrilled to be part of the new student accommodation project at the University of Melbourne's Dookie Campus in Yorta Yorta Country! Collaborating with Modscape and other consultants, supported by the Victorian Government, this project beautifully reflects the campus's agricultural roots while enhancing student life. The ACOR team is proud to contribute and provide our service in civil engineering and building services (fire protection, electrical and hydraulics) to such an impactful development!

What an exciting day on the Greens for a great cause! Last week, Willie Malherbe (ACOR Client Leader), along with Kerrod Murray (RPS), Peter Crunkhorn (RPS) and Steve Carter (Multiplex), had the incredible opportunity to participate in Veteran Housing Australia Charity Golf Day, and what an experience it was! Multiple organisations in the industry joined forces to support Veteran Housing Australia, raising funds to transform lives and provide homes for deserving veterans. A huge thank you to the organisers, sponsors, and all the participants who made the day a success. This year's National Safe Work Month theme, "Safety is Everyone's Business," highlights that workplace safety is a shared responsibility. Each of us plays a vital role in creating a safe and healthy environment. This final week focuses on musculoskeletal injuries (MSIs), which accounted for half of serious workers' compensation claims in 2022-23. This week was full of inspiring evenings after Tuesday and last night at ACOR's launch event for Property Portfolio Services (PPS) in Sydney and Melbourne. In Sydney, our panel, led by Adam Reeman (Property Portfolio Services Leader, ACOR), alongside Liana Paolino (Project Director, ACOR), Marcelo Solar (National Director, Strategic Clients, IA Design) and Paul Dorney (Asset Management Lead, Charter Hall), shared their perspectives on the future of commercial property. The discussions were insightful and crucial in shaping our industry's future, from flexible working arrangements to asset sustainability and digital transformation. Anita Louey (Capital Works PMO State Manager, VIC, WA, and ACT, Mirvac), Simone Rogora (Associate, Hassell) and Blake Wilson (National Business Development Leader, ACOR) also joined Adam in the panel discussion at our Melbourne event, where we explored key themes around: - Work-from-home impacts and Melbourne's slower return to the office - Sustainable practices in the commercial property sector - Asset resilience in a market facing valuation challenges Alex Paton was our MC for both events, leading our insightful panel session conversations, and ACOR Acting Managing Director, Alan Edler, closed out both of our events.
