  • In 2015 Dr Ahmadi invented the idea of the first functional Bionic Voice after years before, a singer came to her with a plea to help him save his voice. This was the driving force behind finding a solution for people like him 🙌 The Queensland-made tech allows laryngectomy people across Australia and the USA to speak with a cloned male or female voice (and to sing as well! 🗣) and is coined 'Sounds Just Like Me'. Not only for those with a laryngectomy, over 80,000 Parkinson disease patients in Australia may also benefit from the bionic voice tech (as changes in speech and vocal articulation are common symptoms of Parkinson's disease too) 👏 Watch the video to see just how incredible this technology is, and how it is changing lives and just how impactful this is for people who are voice-less 👉 https://lnkd.in/eCcpSTXN Laronix #AdvanceQueensland
