  • The Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) has recently sanctioned three registered migration agents. The OMARA has suspended the registration of one registered migration agent for a period of 18 months, cancelled an agent from being registered for a period of five years and barred a former registered migration agent from re-registering for a period of three years. These sanction decisions were made after the Authority found the registered migration agents and former agent had breached their obligations under the Code of Conduct while registered. The OMARA regulates the registered migration agent (RMA) profession to protect consumers seeking RMA services. For a full list of OMARA disciplinary decisions, visit: https://lnkd.in/dfUQVrR
