A look at our MDF Production Line at Australian Panels Oberon Facility in NSW. This state-of-the-art system was manufactured and installed by Crossmuller to enhance and grow the MDF production capacity to suit the demands of the Australian market. It is also the fourth Siempelkamp production line to be installed and is an engineering feat. We were pleased to welcome the Homes Victoria team to our workshop for a hands-on introduction to MULTIKit. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss how our prefabricated approach can help accelerate the delivery of comfortable, durable, and sustainable homes across Victoria. Can I buy one? What an impressive question! It was an indescribable feeling to see and speak with visitors from so many areas and different ages who came especially for the public showcase last week of our newly developed bio-based temporary house at Southern Cross University in Lismore. A lot of happiness, great words, and comments flowed as visitors saw this first-of-its-kind structure on-site, explored its features, touched it, and asked questions about the technologies used. We were also honored by the visit of Minister Jihad Dib, the NSW Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government, Minister for Emergency Services, and Minister for Youth Justice, who came to see the project himself. Benjamin Roche, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Education Impact) at SCU, and Andrew Hurford, the owner of Hurford Wholesale and a project partner, were also present. The project gained viral media attention with interviews and news releases.
