Ok... Last Wednesday was really special. Bard Learning was honoured to be invited to work with the entire delegation at The Good Guys’ Leadership Conference, coaching 150 Store Managers on their implementation of a new powerful, and light weight feedback model. It was decided in the design, that the workshop would retain the same skills focus of our previous leadership program we ran with many of the participants over the last two years. This meant that we got to see a lot of very impressive retention and progress in the skill level of everyone who took part in the deliberate practice role play activities. Participants who found the same activity challenging last year came back and demonstrated serious mastery of some pretty tricky communication skills. We were really proud of everyone there that day. The woman pictured in the role plays with Glen Hancox and myself is Beth Mcgowan, a new store manager at The Good Guys. She is featured here as someone who delivered a "Perfect Run" in her role play! Incredible work! INCREDIBLE! Top marks to The Good Guys for running such a great event.  Special thanks to The Good Guys Learning Team members @Katherine Thomson who brought the whole thing together for 3 large groups as lead facilitator, Ben Wiggins for some seriously realistic edutainment support, and Chris Pavlic who put together an excellent repeatable design. And thanks again to Jason Busuttil, Kyle Evans and Emma Forsyth for having us along. Rant over. #changingtheculture #feedbackculture #leadershipdevelopment #communicationskillstraining
