🌟 BugHerder of the Month: Ewan Barr 🌟 We are excited to recognize Ewan Barr as our ‘BugHerder of the Month’ for October! 🎉 Ewan and his team at The Web Kitchen recently completed two websites for Amali Island (Amali Properties), an ultra-luxury home development located in the World Islands archipelago in Dubai. The project received outstanding feedback for its immersive, innovative design. Meet Ewan Ewan Barr is the Strategy and Project Director at The Web Kitchen, where he leads a team that consistently pushes the boundaries of web design and development. Known for his strategic leadership and creative vision, Ewan has a reputation for delivering projects that combine technical innovation with seamless user experiences. The project Amali Island posed a unique challenge for Ewan and his team. The first website was a teaser aimed at capturing early interest, but with limited assets, they had to get creative to evoke exclusivity and intrigue. The second website provided an immersive experience where visitors could explore the luxury development without leaving the homepage. With over two dozen stakeholders providing input, Ewan managed the feedback and approval process with precision. How he did it Ewan used BugHerd to streamline the client review process and ensure smooth collaboration between his team and the client. • Feedback was clear and actionable: BugHerd’s visual annotation tool made it easy for the client to provide feedback directly on the website, reducing the back-and-forth and ensuring clarity. • Team collaboration was seamless: BugHerd’s Kanban-style dashboard allowed the internal team to prioritize and track tasks in real-time, keeping everyone aligned throughout the project. • Clarity and context were maintained: BugHerd’s ability to capture detailed metadata (browser type, screen size, etc.) ensured that the team could replicate and resolve issues quickly and accurately. The results Ewan’s strategic leadership, with the support of BugHerd, resulted in two successful website launches for Amali Island. The teaser site generated early interest, while the immersive main site exceeded client expectations, providing an interactive virtual tour of the development. “BugHerd enabled us to work efficiently with our client, making sure we hit our deadlines and delivered a site that the client loved.” 🚀 Read more about the project here: https://lnkd.in/g3vDyXZC #BugHerderOfTheMonth #WebDevelopment #ProjectManagement #LuxuryRealEstate #ClientSuccess #BugHerd #websitebuild #websites

Helping Digital & Creative Agencies Measure and Improve Profitability Best Selling Author, Keynote Speaker & CEO

Warning: Your P&L is probably pretty useless for accurately assessing your business performance. Especially in the early days, there are so many things being subsidized by the founders' time that aren't reflected in the cost-basis of the business. As the business scales, the opposite starts to become true, often there are a lot of "tax efficiency expenses" that show up on the P&L, and make it harder to discern the true operating cost of the business. And don't even get me started on the issue of cash accounting, and naive accruals. The point is, especially early on, founders typically aren't pricing in all these "subsidized costs" when they sell work to clients, and design their budgets. So, what happens when you need to hire someone? If you’re not pricing for that future team member, you’re going to feel the pinch. The trick? Price for the team you need before you even hire them. That way, when you’re ready to buy back your time, you won’t be constrained by pricing that doesn’t support your growth. This is a snippet from a conversation I recently had with Stephen Neville from BugHerd. And if you wanna learn more about delivery margins, I'll leave links to both the webinar and a free resource in the comments. #AgencyProfitability #PricingForGrowth #ScalingYourAgency #Entrepreneurship #BugHerd #BusinessGrowth #Parakeeto #AgencyLeadership
