The warm winters and beaches of Sydney eventually drew him and his family back to Australia. • Jessica Lee • Jessica is a patent and trade mark attorney based in Sydney, and predominantly works in the engineering and ICT fields. She manages a variety of intellectual property concerns from drafting, prosecution, portfolio review, due diligence, to freedom to operate and infringement analyses. She is involved with the local investment community, providing IP related support to Sydney Angels. ⚡VNI West will now advance to its next stage with Transgrid securityholders committing almost $700 million to progress early works on the nation-critical project. The Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) has also provided $140 million in concessional financing support under the Federal Government’s $20 billion Rewiring the Nation (RTN) program. The crowd hung on every inspirational word today, listening to an incredible panel at the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce Indigenous Economic Empowerment conversation on Gadigal country. Moderated by Cassandra Dorrington of CAMSC the powerhouse panel of Jaynaya Winmar, Deb Munson and Sarah Hopkins-Herr shared their personal stories as First Nations entrepreneurs in Australia and Canada. The successes and the challenges. The event, welcoming the inaugural Canadian Indigenous Business Delegation to Australia, is the first of many engagements this week as the delegation now head north to Brisbane for Supply Nation’s Connect conference.
