🚢 Phosphate Shipment Complete! Centrex Limited (ASX: CXM) is pleased to report the successful completion of a 21,992t shipment (according to draft survey) from its wholly-owned Ardmore Rock Phosphate Mine. The vessel was loaded from 25th to 28th October and departed Port of Townsville on 29th October for delivery to an existing customer. 📢 Letter of Indication received from Export Finance Australia for up to US$3.45m facility Centrex is pleased to report that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Agriflex, has received a non-binding, conditional Letter of Indication from Export Finance Australia for a loan facility of up to US$3.45M. The facility aims to support Agriflex’s export capabilities in line with increased activities at Ardmore. Approval for the facility remains subject to standard conditions, including due diligence, binding legal documentation, and final board approval from Export Finance Australia. The due diligence process is anticipated to commence immediately in collaboration with Export Finance Australia. Agriflex has previously established and repaid an identical facility with Export Finance Australia, reflecting a strong continued working relationship. Congratulations to Centrex Limited, which is sending a landmark shipment of more than 22,000 tonnes of high-grade phosphate from its Ardmore Phosphate Project in Queensland to India. It marks Australia’s first phosphate export to India. 🌱 A growing agricultural sector means India relies heavily on imports to meet its annual demand of 10 million tonnes of phosphate. This includes substantial amounts of phosphate rock, phosphoric acid, and diammonium phosphate (DAP), with about 60% of India’s DAP supply sourced from international markets. The Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA) has enhanced the competitiveness of Australian phosphate in the Indian market by eliminating the previous tariffs. The deal not only highlights the strength of Queensland's resources sector, but also emphasises the strengthening trade relationship between Australia and India. 🚀 Further grant funding awarded! Centrex Limited (ASX: CXM) is pleased to announce that its MOU partner, Cleveland Bay Chemical Company, has secured grant funding from the Queensland Government’s Backing Business in the Bush Fund. This funding will facilitate the construction of a cutting-edge facility in Townsville, focused on the production of dicalcium phosphate (DCP), an essential animal feed additive. Notably, the grant to Cleveland Bay follows Centrex’s successful $2 million grant approval in September from the Mount Isa Transition Fund, underscoring the increasing recognition of Queensland’s rapidly expanding phosphate industry. Significantly for Centrex, the funding for Cleveland Bay has the potential to unlock the latent commercial value of Centrex’s Amplify product, creating an additional revenue stream to complement existing phosphate concentrate sales. 🌟 Exciting Development: $2M Grant Approval for Ardmore Rock Phosphate Mine! Centrex Limited (ASX: CXM) is thrilled to announce that the Queensland Government’s Department of State Development and Infrastructure has conditionally approved funding of up to $2 million (GST exclusive) for the Ardmore Rock Phosphate Mine, wholly owned by Centrex’s subsidiary, Agriflex Pty Ltd. This funding, awarded under Round 1 of the Mount Isa Transition Fund (MITF), recognises Ardmore’s potential to deliver significant short-term economic and employment benefits to the Mount Isa region. The grant is expected to support the capital expenditure requirements for the ongoing Stage 1.5 Expansion at Ardmore. The final approval and binding contract are subject to Agriflex meeting certain conditions precedent and providing the necessary documentation.
