It is week 2 of National Safe Work Month, and this week ART Group is focusing on psychosocial hazards. But what are psychosocial hazards? 🤔 They are anything that could cause psychosocial hazards (eg to someone’s mental health) and/or physical harm. Hazards include: - the design or management of work - a work environment - plant at the workplace, or - workplace interactions or behaviours. During the week, ART will be rolling out a psychosocial learning package, hold Toolbox discussions on the impacts, prevention, intervention, support and promote healthy living. #SafetyIsOurBusiness

The SA Government / Department for Energy and Mining, South Australia is seeking feedback on two proposed release areas, near the Gawler Ranges and Whyalla, to develop large-scale renewable energy projects under the recently introduced Hydrogen & Renewables Energy (HRE) Act. The HRE Act has introduced a mechanism for large-scale renewable energy projects to be developed on designated land known as release areas. The SA Govt is seeking feedback on the locations, boundaries and any sensitivities and constraints that may be affected by development on the two release areas. Renewable energy developers are also asked to identify specific areas where they may wish to develop projects within the proposed release areas. Once a release area is declared, a competitive tender process can be initiated through a call for tender, inviting interested parties to compete for the right to apply for a Renewable Energy Feasibility Licence (REFL) over identified areas of the release area. Feedback is sought by 22 October 2024. https://lnkd.in/gsxBVRar

AEMO Services has released a follow-up Market Briefing Note to the Capacity Investment Scheme Tender 1. The briefing provides an assessment summary to give feedback to bidders to encourage participation and to assist in improving bids in future tenders. One of the key insights was the connection location and a project configuration that minimises impacts on the grid being critical in winning bids. A demonstrated understanding of the grid in siting and structuring your project is critical. Being able to convey this to the stakeholders also determines successful CIS tenders. Clutch is proud to be able to support our clients to bid and win in CIS and similar tenders.
