We’re so proud to see the new LifeUnleashed brand out in the world. It’s been a pleasure partnering with such an important and inspiring organisation, and legends like Cindy Lenferna de la Motte, Phil Cutts from Coras, and Phuong H. and the brilliant LBH team. And a massive thanks LBBonline - Little Black Book and Tom Loudon for helping us share the news. https://lnkd.in/gGYAFsFD

We are incredibly stoked to announce that from 5,000 companies assessed, Culture Australia has recognised Cocogun as one of the top 100 companies to work for 🎉 The Culture Australia Award recognises companies that put their people first, highlighting that this priority isn’t just a box to be ticked off a checklist but a long-term commitment. Culture’s not a buzzword or another item on the to-do list...it’s a living, breathing part of our DNA that’s created and reinforced anew every day. We’re so excited to celebrate ours! #CultureAustraliaAward #Culture100 #CocogunCulture #Cocogun #CreativeAgency #SydneyAdvertising #Advertising #Awardwinningculture #Sydney #Hyer

Don’t miss CK’s inspiring reflections at She Creates, in collaboration with Adelaide Advertising & Design Club and oOh! There's still time to grab a ticket.

Rubbish Fantastic... the exhibition! We’re still on a high from the epic success of last night’s show, cheekily titled ‘That’s not art, it’s just a bunch of cocks and puns’. Thank you to our wonderful friends and family from across the advertising world and beyond for dropping in, buying an artwork and having a beer. Fittingly, all funds raised from artwork and merch sales is going towards the Cocogun Scholarship for Indigenous Creatives, which is building pathways into the creative industry, to help bring more rich, diverse perspectives into the world. The artist, Ant Melder, said of the show’s success: “I’m clearly no Rembrandt but, put it this way…Van Gogh sold one painting in his entire lifetime - I’ve sold a lot more than that tonight. Just saying!”

On 23rd October, our MD and co-founder Chiquita King will be putting it all out there in a very personal and raw conversation at the She Creates ‘Up Close and Up Late’ event in conjunction with Adelaide Advertising & Design Club and oOh! CK will be reflecting on a life dedicated to creativity, talking about her journey through some of the best independent and network agencies in the world. From moving countries, navigating grief, climbing the career ladder, starting her own business and juggling motherhood all at the same time - it'll all be covered. CK's take on the ups, the downs and the in-betweens are sure to be equal parts surprising, sobering and contagiously inspiring. Ticket info here: https://lnkd.in/gXbkHBxw. Hope to see you there!

For many years, our Creative Partner Ant Melder has fantasised about one day being invited onto Radio 4's Desert Island Discs. That day hasn't yet come (what are you waiting for BBC?!) However, he has been invited onto the brilliant LBB Radio series by the legends at LBB (Little Black Book). With the huge emotional power of music in mind, he's been sharing reflections on a poignant incident from 30 years ago, and a playlist of tracks that have had a life-shaping effect on him. Brittney Rigby Toby Hemming
A gorgeous piece from Ant Melder about the power of music, and one special London afternoon in 1989. “We have our necks craned and noses pressed against the window, taking in something even more special. Just behind the glass, The Stone Roses’ drummer, Alan ‘Reni’ Wren, is soundchecking. Except the sound technicians have disappeared, and he’s still going. “We stand there on tip-toes for close to half an hour, hypnotised. It’s like being on drugs except all I’ve had is that one can of 3.5% Fosters. “Eventually, some Mancunian kid nudges me in the ribs with his elbow and says, ‘That’s fuckin’ Reni.’” Cocogun, LBBonline - Little Black Book https://lnkd.in/g7mdjgXz

We're chuffed to have won the UnLtd. 'Campaign for Good' award at the amazing Big Dream event last week. It was awarded to us alongside our friends at Zenith Media Australia and MissingSchool , for our Don't You Forget About Me campaign. Big shout out to our friends at Scoundrel too. So good to see this campaign working its behind off, and watch this space for some exciting new developments... Also, doff of the cap to the remarkable Rebecca Darley, who gave one of the most beautiful, heartbreaking and, ultimately inspiring speeches we've ever seen. There was not a dry eye in the house and rightly so. Hers is an amazing story worthy of a Hollywood movie. Thanks for sharing it Rebecca.
