Celebrating Women in Engineering!   Our incredible staff from the Commercial & Infrastructure team had the privilege of attending the International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) Winter Gala Dinner hosted by Engineers Australia. The event, held at Doltone House Darling Island Wharf in Pyrmont NSW, brought together engineers, managers, and leaders from diverse disciplines and industries.   The focus on “Enhanced by Engineering” underscored the significance of diverse teams in developing inclusive solutions for society. Our staff left inspired, ready to continue pushing for progress in gender equality within engineering. Commercial & Infrastructure are excited to be successfully included on the Sydney Water prequalification panel back in February for cost advisory services and have since begun collaborating across multiple projects throughout NSW. Commercial & Infrastructure are excited to announce our involvement in The Western Sydney Rapid Bus Project. This project involves the development and implementation of a new bus network to service the new Western Sydney Airport and Bradfield City Centre. The project will see the procurement and operations of a new Zero-Emission bus fleet and construction of new layovers and interchanges for the fleet. More information is available here: https://lnkd.in/g83wwg6P Commercial & Infrastructure are engaged as the program wide cost advisors and are working closely with Transport for NSW and external stakeholders to develop risk assessed cost estimates through project development. Our team are also working closely with government to explore value management opportunities across the project. Our team continue to contribute to planning efforts within Sydney’s Western Region and are thrilled to be part the Western Sydney Rapid Bus project and supporting the NSW Government’s goal of net zero emissions.

Representatives from Commercial & Infrastructure recently attended the “Capstone Showcase” event hosted by the School of Professional Practice & Leadership and the Faculty of Engineering & IT at the University of Technology Sydney.    It was a great opportunity for us to see the innovative projects and initiatives currently being undertaken by students at the University. Congratulations to all of the winners who put so much time and effort into their submissions. #engineers #IT #innovation #students #future
