The best connection, learning and collaboration happens face-to-face! The CPM Advisory and Project Management Team recently held the first of our Quarterly Team meetings for 2025. These meetings are a staple in our company’s events calendar. With our team spread between client sites and our different offices, it’s an opportunity to bring everyone together to connect and share insights, experiences, and the latest developments in our business. As our team grows it’s no small feat getting everyone in the same room, but it’s an important investment in our people and team. Celebrating 15 years of contribution and impact: Jacinta Koperberg’s Milestone Anniversary with CPM. Jacinta was CPM’s first employee, joining us in 2010 after working with Founder James Long on the Toowoomba Pipeline Project – and she has been an integral part of our journey ever since. Starting as James’ Executive Assistant, Jacinta’s career has progressed through various roles as the company grew. Today she serves as our General Manager – Governance and Corporate Services as well as being a valued member of the Board. James Long reflects on Jacinta's impact: "Our business’ values today stem from the values of the people who helped to start CPM. Having been here from the beginning, Jacinta has had a massive impact on the company and continues to do so. She’s always been my voice of reason and is a trusted advisor to this day." “Jacinta, your dedication, leadership, and commitment have played an integral part in shaping me and CPM. Thank you for your incredible contributions and for being a cornerstone of our success to date. We’re grateful to have you as a key member of the Executive Team taking CPM into the next phase.” Please join us in congratulation Jacinta on this milestone.

CPM Advisory and Project Management was proud to support yesterday’s Australian Water Association Queensland Industry Breakfast, by kickstarting the morning with coffee. The event included a panel discussion featuring Jon Davies, CEO of the Australian Constructors Association; Gerard Coggan, Queensland Coordinator; and Melissa Mellado-Ruiz, John Holland’s National Strategy, Customers & Markets Manager (Water). AWA’s own Janice Wilson did an excellent job in leading the discussion as moderator. The panel explored industry challenges and opportunities, emphasising the need for collaboration, sustainability, and innovation. Key topics included addressing the increasing workload and workforce resourcing challenges, improving productivity and efficiency, and the importance of community impact and legacy. Thanks to the Australian Water Association for the opportunity to be involved in such a great event bringing together over 300 industry members. We recently celebrated our CPM Advisory and Project Management Annual Conference, bringing our team together to learn, share and celebrate the achievements of the last 12 months. At each conference we get a team photo – and it’s becoming more difficult each year to fit everyone in the photo. We’ve grown significantly over the last few years, but it’s gatherings like these that make sure our values of People First, Adaptability and Technical Excellence, Collaboration and Positive Legacy remain at the centre of all we do. Thanks to our clients for the opportunities we’ve had to work together this year, and to our team for all your efforts. It’s been a great year!
