The Prime Minister’s Prizes for Excellence in Science Teaching recognise Australian educators who inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators. With $250,000 awarded to both a primary and a secondary school teacher, these prestigious prizes celebrate the critical role of science education in preparing students for the future. 2024 secondary schools recipient Alice Leung encourages others to get involved. ‘I would encourage anyone to nominate a teacher for next year’s Prime Minister’s Prizes for Science.
