  • 2025 – we’ve got this! 💪 After a challenging start to the year with the North Queensland floods, our business team were excited to connect with customers at the first Townsville Chamber of Commerce coffee event for the year.   A highlight was hearing from the Honourable Steven Minnikin, Minister for Customer Services and Open Data and Minister for Small and Family Business, about the State Government's plans for the year.   Our 100% local energy experts are looking forward to another productive year assisting businesses with their end-to-end electricity needs.   #LocalExperts #PartnersInEnergy Dianne Newell Diana Condylas

When it comes to improving customer experience, I often talk about the little moments that matter. Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen countless moments of resilience, compassion, and dedication from our Ergon Energy Retail teams as they’ve supported North Queensland communities through the devastating floods.   As I shared with the Townsville Bulletin, our focus goes beyond just keeping the lights on. It also involves helping our customers get back on their feet, whether that’s through emergency financial assistance, flexible payment plans, or simply offering a human connection in difficult times. Our local team has been on the ground in Ingham, in our contact centres, and across the region, standing with our customers when they need us most.   A big thank you to Jami Roberts, along with all the media outlets, for helping spread these important messages.   It’s going to be a long road to recovery for North Queensland, but we will be here for our customers and community every step of the way.   https://lnkd.in/grHy9Gqm #NorthQLDFloods #CommunitySupport #Resilience

  • John from our team was pleased to be a guest speaker at the Pioneer Valley Water Co-operative Limited's recent AGM, sharing information with local farmers about small and large business tariffs, solar feed-in tariffs, smart meters, My Account and more.    The Co-operative manages the distribution of around 47,000 megalitres of irrigation water per year to allocation holders in the Pioneer River Water Supply Scheme.    At Ergon Energy Retail, it’s our 100% local team members like John that set us apart. We’re passionate about providing expert energy advice that’s tailored to the unique needs of Queensland businesses and households.    Pictured: Ergon Energy Retail Customer Relationship Specialist, John Lucey, with Pioneer Valley Water Co-operative Limited General Manager, Steven Ford
