Thank you to the Australian Constructors Association (ACA) for helping us to get the message out about the digital Yellow and Gold Cards.

The #EWPA is pleased to advise the launch of the Digital Yellow Card Operator Licence. Since 1987, the EWPA has been providing training for operators of Elevating Work Platforms (EWPs) through its Yellow Card training program. With over 200 Trainers across Australia, EWPA Accredited Trainers have trained over 500,000 operators. Thanks to their work and the quality of the program, EWPA Yellow Cards are widely accepted across many different industry sectors. Now, we are pleased to announce we have also launched a Digital EWPA Operator Licence – Yellow Card. Secure digital credentials are becoming more common, we have seen driving licences move to this format as well as the high risk work platform licence in NSW. We know that operators lose cards and wallets, and replacing physical cards is a time-consuming process to print and post replacements. Additionally, to provide clarity for operators and site supervisors, the EWPA has registered a trademark for ‘Yellow Card”. This legal protection will resolve any misunderstanding from operators and site supervisors as to who delivered the training and ensure that operators and sites can easily see that the Yellow Card Operator Licence has been issued by the EWPA. In less than 3 weeks the #EWPA will be hosting the annual Global Access Meeting on 4 June 2024. The Global Access Meeting is the leading forum focused on MEWP safety, technology and sustainability. Held in conjunction with #HIRE24, the Global Access Meeting brings senior representatives from the Access industry and key industry stakeholders together, with presentations from Holding Redlich Lawyers, international manufacturers including MANITOU Group and Almac Pacific / Almac Italia, transport industry experts and will also include updates on the EWPA's revised Yellow Card training program and Digital licence, as well as updates on both Australian and International standards. The #EWPA is pleased to advise members that today we have launched our new website along with an updated member portal and CRM (Customer Relationship Management system). Primary contacts from all member companies have been emailed today with instructions on how to reset their password ensuring continued access to the EWPA member portal. All other contacts will receive a communication in the coming days. Primary contacts will now have the ability to review, manage, remove and invite other contacts within your organisation to access the Member Portal - meaning greater access to our member benefits and resources across member companies. STATIONERY ORDERS - Currently on hold The EWPA also provides a range of stationery items, including essentials like the Yellow Pouch, Log Book, and more. As a part of the launch we are integrating an e-commerce shop directly within our site. Once logged in you will have access to stationery at special member prices. The final updates on this shop and integration are taking place, therefore stationery orders are currently on hold until this shop is launched.
