Shoutout to Our Canberra Team!  Recently, we had the pleasure of delivering Mental Health First Aid training to our fabulous Local Area Coordinator team in Canberra. A huge congratulations to our 10 incredible team members who completed the 2-day Standard Mental Health First Aid course! This milestone means our team is even more equipped to support mental health and wellbeing, for our disability support and inclusion participants. What a fantastic weekend at the Disability, Ageing and Lifestyle Expo in Adelaide. With thousands of attendees and a record 261 exhibitors, it was the biggest community event of the year for the region. Our team joined 360 others at the networking breakfast, where we connected with incredible stakeholders, organisations, and community members. Exciting times for our Volunteer team! In August, we welcomed two fantastic new Volunteer Coordinators – Annabelle Penlington (formerly from Feros Central) and Jude Kearns (from Volunteering Gold Coast). They’ve already hit the ground running, participating in a team-building day and crafting an action plan for the months ahead.  Next month, four of our Volunteer Coordinators will be heading to Adelaide for the 1st National Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme Conference.
