Celebrating Adrian’s 10-Year Journey at Ferra! We are excited to commemorate a significant milestone — Adrian’s 10-year anniversary at Ferra Group! Over the past decade, Adrian has contributed to the success of our team in many ways, taking on a variety of roles including Machine Operator, Production Supervisor, Production Technical Lead, Production Support, as well as his current position which incorporates both Apprentice Supervisor, and the management of Machine Shop Tooling and Consumables. What Adrian appreciates most about Ferra is the collaborative environment and strong bonds he has been able to create with his colleagues, as well as the advanced technology we use that keeps every day interesting. Throughout his career, Adrian has been a pivotal mentor to apprentices and younger team members. His passion for both people and technology shines through in everything he does. Last week, Ferra Group was honoured to welcome COL Nigel Motley and LTCOL Phillip James from the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopter Project team to our Brisbane site. As a key sovereign industry contributor to this critical Defence program, we’re proud to be manufacturing and assembling the Vertical Spar Box (VSB) for the Australian fleet of Apache helicopters. The visit from COL Motley and LTCOL James reinforced the importance of the Apache aircraft to Australia’s sovereignty and defence readiness and the key contributions Australian industry are making to the program. In preparation, Ferra has been investing in capability upgrades to ensure our team and facility are ready to meet the production needs of our customer.
