A heartfelt thank you to NAFA for celebrating and supporting our first responders and their families with an incredible lineup of shows at this year's North Australian Fesitival of Arts! 🌟 ✨ Bingo Bango had everyone entertained with lively and interactive games, with one brave young participant even taking the stage to win a prize! The experience was new, exciting, and had us all in stitches. 😂 Camp Culture delivered laughs for all ages! Like a Disney movie, it catered to both kids and adults, leaving everyone smiling and giggling at the cheeky one-liners. 🎶 Christine Anu gifted us a soulful blend of new and old songs, complete with cultural and language lessons woven throughout the show. Experiencing her music together amplified its therapeutic impact on our spirits. 🤣 And Lizzy Hoo and Dilruk Jayasinha gave us a comedy show that lifted our spirits, relieved our stress, and reminded us of the power of laughter for our wellbeing. A huge thank you to the staff and Fishcare volunteers from DPIRD- Dept Primary Industries Regional Development for sharing sustainable fishing tips with Fortem first responders and their families over the weekend! From casting and knot-tying to learning the rules and setting up our rods, this wellbeing activity kept both little and big kids engaged from start to finish.
