In today’s session, ABCorp and Quadient shared invaluable insights on "Managing Citizen Expectations" and how government services can evolve to better serve all citizens in an increasingly digital world. Here are some of the key takeaways: 🔹 The Drive to Digital: Tracing the evolution of digital communications, today’s rapid transformation in public service underscores the need for seamless, integrated platforms to enhance accessibility and citizen engagement. 🔹 Accessibility for All: Quadient highlighted that 16% of the global population lives with disabilities, emphasising the need for accessible content, especially in high-traffic documents like PDFs. Solutions like Quadient Inspire help ensure digital accessibility, meet compliance, and reduce legal risks. 🔹 Platform Consolidation: Centralised systems unify communication across email, web, mobile, and print, offering a consistent and streamlined experience for all citizens while improving efficiency. 🔹 Inclusivity is Key: By adopting ‘digital by design’ services, the government can ensure multi-channel access, meeting the needs of regional and underserved communities across Australia. Thank you to Adam Bosen from ABCorp and Sacha Trube and Stephen Lynn from Quadient for these valuable insights into creating inclusive, accessible, and secure communications! #FSTGovFederal #FSTMedia

What a way to kick off the Future of Federal Government Summit! This morning’s opening keynote by Lucy Poole was packed with actionable insights and a clear vision for successful digital transformation in government. Her session, "What Does Good Look Like? An Exploration of Key Themes at the Centre of Successful Digital Transformation in Government" set the tone for the day ahead. Here are some standout takeaways: ▫ Lead with Business Goals, Not Just Technology: Transformation should be guided by business needs. Digital initiatives must deliver measurable benefits and realistic costs with a clear, agreed-upon scope. ▫ Nail the Basics: Strong foundations are everything. Projects often stumble not from surprises but from unasked questions early on. ▫ Understand Risks: Complexity and system "coupling" can elevate failure risks. Leaders should empower their teams to adapt, troubleshoot, and respond to disruption. Thank you, Lucy, for these invaluable insights on creating resilient, responsive government systems. We’re inspired and ready for what’s next! #FSTGovFederal #FSTMedia

Today at the Future of Singapore Government Summit, Gek Peng Tay, Chief Digitalisation Officer and Head of RAiD at the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) shared the incredible story of RAiD (RSAF Agile Innovation Digital) and how it’s transforming the RSAF. Born from a leadership retreat in 2017, RAiD emerged as an answer to a key question: How might the RSAF disrupt itself before getting disrupted? This led to the creation of pivotal tools like SwiftMed and SwiftCobra in collaboration with GovTech and the tech industry. These initiatives have made the RSAF more agile and data-driven in an increasingly volatile environment. RAiD’s success lies in the combination of organic tech capabilities and strong partnerships. As Gek Peng emphasised, “We can’t do it alone—collaboration is fundamental.” By working with academia, industry and government, RAiD has brought smart solutions to the RSAF’s airmen and airwomen, enhancing their operational readiness and digital maturity. Looking ahead, RAiD will continue to foster innovation through partnerships, building sustainable, impactful solutions for Singapore’s future.  A big thank you to Gek Peng Tay for such an insightful session today! #FSTGovSing #FSTMedia #FSTGovernment #RSAF #DigitalTransformation #Innovation #TechCollaboration
