We just finished laser scanning (1054 scans in 5 days) an existing building and will be creating a detailed digital twin model in Revit for a major renovation project. Using laser scanning, we captured the building's precise geometries and conditions with incredible accuracy. This data allowed us to develop a comprehensive digital twin in Revit, replicating the structure down to the smallest detail. This approach offers significant benefits. It enhances collaboration among architects, engineers, and contractors by providing a shared, accurate reference. This means more effective planning and fewer surprises during construction. Plus, this digital twin isn't just for the renovation phase. It will be a dynamic, updatable resource for the building's entire lifecycle, aiding in facility management and future modifications.
