In the wake of ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, Good360 Australia remains committed to supporting the recovery of affected communities in southeast Queensland and northern New South Wales. While the cyclone's impact was less severe than initially feared, it still left its mark on communities with rivers rising dangerously close to major flood levels, and thousands of homes and businesses impacted. As of March 17, insurers have received over 63,000 claims—mainly for food spoilage, wind damage, and water getting into homes. This underscores the significant challenges that residents continue to face. At Good360, we’re working with our amazing network of local organisations to get essential goods to the people who need them most. We understand that recovery extends beyond immediate relief, and we are dedicated to assisting communities as they rebuild and strengthen their resilience. Recovery takes time, and we’re here for the long haul. If your organisation is supporting affected communities, get in touch with our team at (02) 8594 3600 to see how we can help. Otherwise, if you'd like to support our long-term disaster recovery efforts, make a donation at https://lnkd.in/gdfEG96s #DisasterRecovery #CycloneAlfred #CircleOfGood #DisasterResponse

About us
We make charitable giving simpler, more efficient and more effective by connecting businesses that have goods with the people who need them Australia-wide. Our unique online donation marketplace provides a seamless process that links ordering, shipping, warehousing operations and member support together and eliminates delays in meeting demand. Through this innovative technological approach, we are able to do good for businesses, charities, individuals and the environment. Businesses can donate excess product in a cost-effective and socially responsible way, while improving employee engagement and their bottom line. Charities can save money, expand programs and strengthen their impact. Individual donations also go further by directly subsidising their favourite charities’ shipping costs. Digital access is no longer a luxury – it's a necessity. Yet, nearly 1.2 million young Australians still don’t have a laptop or desktop computer at home, limiting their ability to study, complete homework, and develop the digital skills they need for the future. At Good360 Australia, we’re proud to collaborate with WorkVentures and Good Things Australia on the National Device Bank, helping to connect refurbished laptops, tablets, and mobiles with communities in need. By simply donating just 10% of the 10 million devices refreshed every five years, Australian businesses can play a pivotal role in bridging the digital divide. A recent donation of 2,000 devices from Deloitte shows the incredible impact corporate Australia can have. If more organisations followed suit, we could change the future for disadvantaged students nationwide.
