Digital access is no longer a luxury – it's a necessity. Yet, nearly 1.2 million young Australians still don’t have a laptop or desktop computer at home, limiting their ability to study, complete homework, and develop the digital skills they need for the future. At Good360 Australia, we’re proud to collaborate with WorkVentures and Good Things Australia on the National Device Bank, helping to connect refurbished laptops, tablets, and mobiles with communities in need. By simply donating just 10% of the 10 million devices refreshed every five years, Australian businesses can play a pivotal role in bridging the digital divide. A recent donation of 2,000 devices from Deloitte shows the incredible impact corporate Australia can have. This Global Recycling Day, we’re celebrating a partnership that’s making a real difference—one pair of shoes at a time! 👟♻️ Since 2022, Shoes & Sox has donated over 43,500 pairs of brand-new shoes to families doing it tough through Good360. These new shoes have given students the confidence and dignity to walk into school feeling ready to learn, play, and belong with their peers.  For families struggling to afford essentials, a good pair of school shoes can be a game-changer. Tomorrow is International Women's Day, and this year the Good360 Australia team celebrates progress while recognising there’s still work to do. 2025 marks 30 years since the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action—a landmark commitment to gender equality. It’s a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come, but also of the challenges that still exist like economic opportunity, education, and leadership for women and girls in Australia. At Good360, we believe every woman and girl deserves the rights, equality, and empowerment to thrive.
