Our Senior Project Manager James Medlock facilitated a panel discussion "Excellence in Development". We heard about how providers are optimising older sites to make better use of land and deliver modern, resident-focused amenities. This shift reflects a broader move to cater to the changing needs of today’s retirees.   📕 The desire for flexible regulatory structures to allow the blending of residential aged care with seniors living. The sun is shining for our NSW Annual Retirement Living Forum! ☀️ First up, we heard from Fair Trading Commissioner, Natasha Mann. The Commissioner spoke to the important role Retirement Living plays in delivering housing supply and diversity to the state and provided an update on the government's regulatory agenda. 🏡 We then heard from leaders in our sector in the View from the Top panel. The outlook is full of optimism, with the sector moving in the right direction. Streamlining the planning system and the future of care were top of mind. Our HSE Team had the pleasure of attending the Workplace Health & Safety Show held at Sydney Olympic Park, which brings together thousands of health, safety and environmental professionals.   We have a very strong focus on Health and Safety at Growthbuilt and are always looking for opportunities to expand our knowledge and discover new innovations in products including PPE and software.   They listened to industry experts in exhibits, seminars and workshops across the day all focused on how to keep our workforce and environment safe. We had the opportunity to chat with Geoff Robinson, Head of Development at Aveo, about Building B at Bella Vista Haven. Geoff shared the vision for the project and highlighted the commitment to the program that Growthbuilt has demonstrated throughout the project phases. He emphasised the importance of senior management involvement, focusing on safety and actively engaging with neighbouring residents.
