Harvest Road were proud to attend the 2024 Albany Show last weekend, where we provided samples of Harvey Beef and freshly shucked Albany Rock Oysters. The Albany Agricultural show is a community event dedicated to promoting, encouraging, and supporting the development of Albany and the Great Southern Region's rich resources.

Great to see our Harvey Beef Reserve premium Grainfed product on show at the recent Makro HORECA event. Chef Natsasi ( Lady Butcher ) Nooin demonstrated some great inspiration for how versatile a single cut can be for Chef’s to work with.

Some of the team from Harvest Road had the opportunity to volunteer at Foodbank WA. Together we packed essential food items and helped organise supplies for those in need. This is a great way to give back to the community. Harvest Road has recently partnered with Foodbank to offer them many of our wonderful Harvey Beef products at a discounted rate for them to purchase and provide their customers with quality, nutritious and affordable products.

Our Leeuwin Coast team were delighted to host key national wholesale partners at our Albany aquaculture farm last week ahead of the upcoming Albany Rock Oyster season. Our team took our guests out on the water, showcasing our growing practices and followed by a tour of our state of the art land based nursery and grading facility. They also visited the Albany Shellfish Hatchery before enjoying some of the best produce of the Great Southern in some of Albany’s wonderful, hospitable venues. 

Our team at Harvey Beef were proud to be involved in this year’s Brunswick Show held on Saturday 26th October. The team hosted the annual Boning and Slicing competition, as well as selling Steak Burgers, Sausages and Jerky. It was a great turn out with our marquee full to watch the team go head-to-head! A massive thank you to everyone who came along to help set up, support the team, and serve our hungry customers and support another great community event.

Today is International Day of Rural Women and we’re honoured to recognise our incredible women who work across our diverse operations. At Harvest Road Group we are proud to celebrate the important role that women play in providing leadership in their rural communities. We honour the dedication and hard work of individuals in rural areas who play a vital role in our communities and environment. 

R U Ok? Day is a great reminder to reach out to friends, family and loved ones and ask them how they're doing. Today the team at Harvest Road Group were extremely grateful to have Kendall Whyte from the Blue Tree Project join us for morning tea and speak to the team about how the initiative started, her personal experience around mental health and what we can do to help others and ourselves through difficult times. Her 4 key points were: Ask for help, make time for yourself, be vulnerable and be patient and kind. By making the time to start a conversation and genuinely listening with an open mind, we can all help the people in our lives feel supported, because a conversation could change a life.

“Harvest Road Group was pleased to host Don Punch MLA at our Albany farm last week, where he had the opportunity to meet our team and understand more about our shellfish operations before the start of rock oyster season in early November”.

The team from Harvest Road Group enjoyed a great few days at the Dowerin Machinery Field Days event last week. It was the perfect community platform to connect with other industry professionals and producers and where we were able to showcase some of our Harvey Beef products with the team from CheatMeats at the daily cooking demonstrations. Thanks to Leon and Cory Frayling for your hard work! Congratulations to Danielle Green and the team at Dowerin for putting on a wonderful event to celebrate the 60th year anniversary.
