Beef Australia is a week-long exposition that engages all facets of the Australian Beef Industry and is held triennially in Rockhampton, Queensland. Staged in Australia’s Beef Capital, Rockhampton in Central Queensland, the beef expositions have become an iconic international event for the Australian beef industry and a major regional event for the state. The next Beef Australia exposition will be held on 2-8 May 2027.

Beef Australia has announced the appointment of a new Chairman and Board of Directors, following the 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) held today in Rockhampton. Beef Australia’s members elected Cameron Hewitt and Wendy Mayne as new Directors, and re-elected current Directors Claire Mactaggart and Russell Hughes. The Board of Directors appointed Adelaide McDonald, CFA as Chair, Elisha Parker and Jess Webb as Vice Chairs, Kay Becker as Treasurer, and Claire Mactaggart as Secretary. Two of Beef Australia’s long-serving Directors retired from their roles with past Chair Bryce Camm and past Treasurer Richard Brosnan stepping down from their roles.
