✨ A star studded night for HPX Group!   This time last week, HPX Group welcomed all our colleagues from Hamilton Locke, Source and Helios to our annual PX (People Experience) Awards! We dressed up to the nines and gathered to celebrate the excellence, dedication and achievements in our teams across Australia and in New Zealand.    For three years running, HPX Group has hosted this evening to shine a spotlight on our people who go above and beyond to enhance our People Experience (PX) and embody our core values: High performance, Agility, Leadership and Openness.   And while we see these qualities every day in our team, we love this opportunity to recognise those in particular who strive to go above and beyond.   Thank you to everyone who joined us on the evening and congratulations to all our award winners!

Expanding our capabilities in our Brisbane office, Amelia Prokuda has joined as a partner, specialising in Environment & Planning.   Amelia’s expertise is in environmental, town planning and infrastructure law, representing commercial clients and property developers, as well as state and local governments.   She shares with us her reasons for choosing Hamilton Locke and what makes us stand out from other firms.  

We’re continuing to welcome new partners across our offices with Damien Bourke, along with his team of Joanne Casburn, Paul Thompson and Ryan Steele, recently joining us in Brisbane. Damien specialises in complex tax and commercial litigation and has extensive experience in matters involving litigating with the various Revenue authorities. We asked Damien why he chose Hamilton Locke and what makes us stand out from other firms.

As part of our continuing growth, we’re expanding our Trans-Tasman capabilities with the appointment of Corin Maberly as a partner in our Auckland office.   Corin is known for his entrepreneurial approach, which is at the heart of the Hamilton Locke business. He has built a leading telecommunications, IT and projects practice, which is an excellent fit with our current service offering in both New Zealand and Australia.   We asked Corin what makes Hamilton Locke unique and why he chose to join us on our growth journey.

Joining us in Sydney, along with their team of nine, are partners Michael Tooma and Kiri Jervis.   Michael is well respected as one of Australia’s leading regulatory and investigation and environmental, social and governance (ESG) specialists and will head up our ESG practice.   Kiri specialises in workplace relations, regulatory enforcement proceedings, and large-scale employment disputes.   They share their reasons for choosing Hamilton Locke and what sets us apart from other firms.   We are excited to have them on board as part of our team.

We recently joined our colleagues at Source for our annual Px Awards night! The evening was dedicated to celebrating our people and their contribution to our Group, as well as our continued successes and achievements. We enjoyed a memorable night recognising our award winners who continually contribute to our People Experience (Px) and uphold our values.
