A new benchmark in design and care delivery, Regis Aged Care Camberwell is now open and operational. HSPC Health Architects led the architectural design and delivery of Melbourne’s latest $40M greenfield residential aged care home, nestled in the inner eastern suburbs. The exterior design aesthetic enhances the surrounding area, blending seamlessly with its environment. Located adjacent to parklands, it provides a connection to nature, complemented by a thoughtful biophilic overlay. Luxury and comfort are reflected throughout the home which features asalon, day spa, library, cinema, and private dining room. These amenities provide engaging spaces for residents and their loved ones to connect and celebrate special occasions together. The three-storey, 112-bed residence was completed by Building Engineering, with meticulous attention to detail at every stage. Bringing a new level of care and world class facilities to the Hunter community, HSPC Health Architects is proud to have delivered the latest $15m expansion of Maitland Private Hospital, including a 12 chair day oncology unit and a 24 bed inpatient mental health unit. Nestled in the canopy of lush eucalypts, the mental health ward provides a calming setting while the day oncology space is bathed in natural light with views out over the Hunter. The facade design is a blend of functionality and aesthetics, breaking up large surfaces with carefully chosen materials and architectural elements including sunshading devices applicable to a targeted 5 star Greenstar building. The ground floor features shopfront glazing, offering transparency and an inviting glazed entry.
