This week Clean Energy Finance Corporation committed a $50 million loan to Intellihub to support our continued deployment of smart meters and better management of behind the meter devices. This support is crucial for the energy transition and reaching our Net Zero ambitions. Smarter orchestration of behind the meter devices will unlock gigawatts of consumer energy to help make our energy systems more sustainable. It will also deliver more benefits to consumers and help them participate in this clean energy transition. Smart meters are the key to help make this happen. #energy #smartmetering #energytransition #behindthemeter

Our Australian team connected with customers, partners and other representatives from across the energy industry at Australian Energy Week in Melbourne this month. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to learn more about our smart meter and value-add offerings and to hear about how we’re going beyond the meter, to support the better management of consumer energy devices like electric hot water, pools, solar, batteries and EV chargers and simplify the energy transition. #customerexperience #energytransition #behindthemeter #energy

Seven new public EV chargers have now been powered up on electricity poles across Sydney’s Northern Beaches through our EV Streetside Charging Project. EV sales have accelerated across the Northern Beaches, with more than 3,000 electric-powered cars now registered in homes and businesses across the region. Our project partners Northern Beaches Council Mayor Sue Heins and EVSE CEO Brendan Wheeler helped to celebrate the local milestone at one of the chargers in Frenchs Forest. The 22-kilowatt charger has already logged numerous successful charging sessions from local residents and visitors to the nearby sporting fields, theatre and shopping centre. The EV Streetside Charging Project is supported by funding from Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and is being run with the support of eight local councils throughout NSW. Thanks to our project partners Origin Energy, Ausgrid and Schneider Electric. Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/d2u5sFyT #EVCharging #electricvehicles #energy

We're delighted to be partnering with Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities and others to support the Multiple Trading Trial of 200 homes in the Wellington region. The trial aims to improve the efficiency of surplus solar energy, assist in flexible energy usage and reduce costs.
We’re thrilled to officially welcome electricity retailer Paua to the People to our upcoming solar innovation trial. Paua to the People and Bluecurrent AU/NZ have now both received Electricity Code exemptions from the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko allowing our trial to move to the implementation phase. Known as a Multiple Trading Trial, we’ll be making better use of the surplus solar energy generated on our homes by monetising the electricity exported to the network. Our customers will continue using their choice of retailer for electricity supply, but any excess solar electricity will be traded by Paua to the People on behalf of Kāinga Ora. The trial will be going live on around 200 homes in the Wellington region very soon. We’re proud that this will be the first trial of its kind running in the New Zealand electricity market, aiming to demonstrate how well this solution works in practice and help shift the dial towards a more flexible, competitive electricity market for all New Zealanders. A big thank you to our partners Ara Ake, Wellington Electricity, Intellihub Group, Bluecurrent AU/NZ and the Electricity Authority Te Mana Hiko for their support and shared vision in bringing this complex project to life. #SolarInnovation #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #NZElectricity #DecentralisedEnergy

With electric vehicle sales growing by 140% last year, regional areas like Lake Macquarie require access to alternate public charging options too. A great reason why we’ve just completed the installation of seven power pole mounted public EV chargers across the Lake Macquarie and Singleton LGAs. Thank you to Lake Macquarie Mayor Kaye Fraser, Pat Conroy EVSE Co-founder Brendan Wheeler and local EV motorist Leah Stevens for their support conducting our ceremonial first charge at the picturesque Redhead Beach. Fifty EV chargers are being installed across Sydney and Hunter regions of NSW, with the support of the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) Renewable Energy Agency Exploren and local councils such as Lake Macquarie City Council and Singleton Council Read more at https://lnkd.in/ggG6Ekne

Celebrating International Women's Day! Today, at Intellihub we’re celebrating the remarkable achievements of women within our company and around the world. Under the theme "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress," we acknowledge the extraordinary contributions of women in driving positive change and development. We had the honour of hosting, Peta Searle, the first female coach for an AFL football team whose journey epitomises the resilience needed to overcome barriers and redefine leadership norms. As a leader she advocates saying ‘yes’ to allow women to progress in their careers. At Intellihub we recognise the outstanding women who invest their skills, time, and energy to drive innovation, collaboration, and growth within our company and community. Guided by our company value ‘together we own It’, we’re committed to investing in women, amplifying their voices, and propelling progress every day.
