It can be tough to talk to someone when you're already struggling. That's why starting the conversation early could make all the difference. 💛 This year Wellbeing Advocates are reaching out to Kinetic IT team members throughout September—with a chocolate freckle and open ears. But anyone can start a conversation, anytime. You don't have to be an expert to touch base with a work mate, friend, family member or even a passing stranger. You can use these steps to help: 🔸 Ask R U OK? 🔸 Listen 🔸 Encourage action 🔸 Check in If you'd be more comfortable talking to someone anonymously, we'll also put some useful contacts here (save this post): 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝟮𝟰/𝟳) - 13 11 14 | lifeline.org.au 𝟭𝟯 𝗬𝗔𝗥𝗡 (𝟮𝟰/𝟳) - 13 92 76 | 13yarn.org.au 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 (𝟮𝟰/𝟳) - 1800 55 1800 | kidshelpline.com.au 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 - 1300 78 99 78 | mensline.org.au 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 - 1800 650 890 | headspace.org.au 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 - 1800 595 212 | headtohealth.gov.au 𝗤𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 - 1800 184 527 | qlife.org.au 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 (𝟮𝟰/𝟳) - 1300 224 636 | beyondblue.org.au 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗔𝗿𝗺𝘀 (𝟮𝟰/𝟳) - 1800 011 046 | openarms.gov.au 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 - 1800 007 007 | ndh.org.au 𝟭𝟴𝟬𝟬𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧 (𝟮𝟰/𝟳) - 1800 737 732 | 1800respect.org.au 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝟮𝟰/𝟳) - 1300 659 467 | https://lnkd.in/eq_cUxd #RUOK? #RUOKDay

Big enterprises have complex #ServiceManagement needs, which makes even the smallest changes difficult. Our principal, Dan Spada, spoke to itSMF Australia about the key to effective change management: Communication. Communication. 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡. It's all about helping your employees ride the wave of change. 🏄 Here are some tips on how to communicate changes effectively: 🔸 Nominate a change lead: project managers have a lot on their plate already and organisations are constantly evolving, so having a dedicated leader to champion change can help to reduce barriers and friction. 🔸 Understand your personas: not every employee cares about the same thing. Taking the time to understand what matters to each department will help you communicate why the change is happening and get their buy-in. 🔸 A few emails aren't enough: you need a robust awareness comms program. If you think you've communicated enough, double it and double it again. Use a variety of channels—you could have a go-live FAQ webpage or have technicians on the ground when big shifts happen. #ChangeManagement #SIAM #ITSM

📶 Coming live to you from the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Symposium in Canberra. Today we'll be focused on how #Cloud solutions can empower the increasingly complex ecosystem of Australia's public sector. Our team will be tuning into many of the keynote speakers like Iain Rouse, David Levy, Donna Hutchison & Abbey Hogan, feeding home insights on the state of play for #AWS in Australia. 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱: 🔹 Collaboration isn't just a buzzword, but the key to faster and more effective progress. By partnering across sectors, you can leverage cloud tech to deliver better services and stronger, more equitable outcomes for local communities. 🔹 #Data is power—if you can use it. The challenge for public sector is turning vast amounts of data in actionable insights. The pathway to unlocking data is streamlining access and interpretation. 🔹 Services should always be designed with the end-user in mind. Digital transformations can only deliver real, tangible benefits if they prioritise the needs and experiences of Australian citizens. 🔹 #AI doesn't have to be complicated to be effective. Starting with clear, quick wins can allow the public sector to harness AI's potential, without getting bogged down in the complexities. But it's important to have internal conversations about ethical uses of AI from the get-go. #AWS #CloudComputing #AustralianGovernment
