🐨 Today is Save the Koala Day, and we have some serious fur in the game, having invested AUD$3.4+ million and counting to get the (arguably) cutest and sleepiest Aussie icon off the endangered list with our partners at WWF-Australia. That said, there is still heaps more work and awareness to raise for our furry friends… This week we welcomed WWF Account Manager (and former Koala), Courtney Cutcliffe, and Senior Manager of Koala Recovery and Landscape Restoration, Tanya Pritchard, into our Alexandria Treehouse (Office) to give the team an update on our partnership and extensive efforts since 2017 to protect Australian biodiversity. You can also help bring our threatened Australian animals and the places they call home back from the brink of extinction. 🌍💚 This Save The Koala Day we’re excited to celebrate a huge milestone with our incredible partner, Koala! They’re just about to reach $3.5M donated towards WWF-Australia’s conservation efforts! Since 2017, this partnership has powered impactful projects, from funding koala detection dogs, to providing safe nesting spaces for glossy black cockatoos, and supporting vital research to help green turtles adapt to climate change. And we’re not stopping there! With Koala’s continued support, including a goal to plant 500,000 trees by FY25, we’re making real strides for Australia’s wildlife and ecosystems. Here’s to many more years of meaningful action together! 🌿🐾 #Conservation #Sustainability #Biodiversity #WildlifeProtection
