Minimum participation is US$500 and subscriptions are open until 7th November. Sala is an EdTech startup based in Cambodia with a simple vision to enrich students' journeys. At its core, LendForGood is a community of lenders, borrowers, and impact intermediaries. Together, we combine our talents, resources, hopes, experience, and ambition, in the belief that a better world is possible if we unleash the potential of impact enterprises in their communities.    Today, 136 lenders have deployed just over AU$2.5 million via 36 impact loans to 23 impact enterprise borrowers, put forward by 16 impact intermediaries. 13 of these loans are repaid, returning almost AU$1.1 million back to those who lent their support.    Each impact loan assists impact enterprises to succeed in their unique contexts, as well as helping to achieve at least one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The top 5 SDGs targeted by the 36 successful loan campaigns so far are: Goal 8: Decent Work & Economic Growth Goal 1: No Poverty Goal 12: Responsible Consumption & Production Goal 5: Gender Equality Goal 10: Reduced Inequality   There are 4 impact loan campaigns live right now! IMPACT LOAN CAMPAIGN EXTENSION: Collabit have extended their impact loan campaign with LendForGood and been recognised by the UNDP Indonesia! Collabit extended their impact loan campaign with LendForGood, supported by Red Hat Impact. They are seeking a US$150,000 loan for 18 months at 10% interest. Minimum participation is US$500 and subscriptions are open until 22nd October. They are currently half way to their minimum target! Collabit is revolutionising the fishing industry with a circular economy approach, transforming marine by-products into valuable marine ingredients. Their mission is to combat fish waste and close nutrition gaps while positioning Indonesia as a hub for marine biotech manufacturing. IMPACT LOAN CAMPAIGN EXTENSION: Hagush have extended their impact loan campaign with LendForGood! Hagush has extended their impact loan campaign with LendForGood with some updates to their terms. They are seeking a US$30,000 loan for 17 months at 10% interest. Minimum participation is US$500 and subscriptions are open until 22nd October. The mission of Hagush is to make digital technology access universal. Around 40% of the population in Sub-Saharan Africa does not use mobile internet despite living in an area with coverage, and a major barrier is smartphone affordability (GSMA, 2022). Hagush is addressing this issue with an innovative business model that combines asset financing and supply chain optimisation to make smartphones more affordable, enabling more smallholder farmers to get online.
