    Good news: Analysing ad creative isn’t rocket science! 🚀 Bad news: Most people are still lost in space 👽 I like to break it down into two buckets: Hard metrics ➡️ ROAS and CPA (whatever is relevant for your business—purchases, leads, app installs, you name it) Soft metrics ➡️ Thumbstop ratio, hold rate, CTR—these gauge your ability to grab attention and drive a click. Hard metrics show you the money. They’re all about what your ads are actually bringing in. Soft metrics, on the other hand, are the creative gut-checks. Are you stopping the scroll? Are people sticking around long enough to catch your message? And, is that message compelling enough to get them to click? Creative is the biggest lever you’ve got for performance. The best teams have a constant feedback loop, evaluating both hard and soft metrics to figure out what really works, and to double down on it. Master this and you unlock growth 💥

    STOP LETTING YOUR CONTENT DIE AFTER ONE USE 🔪😵 Every brand should be building a library of these 3 types of footage to get more bang for your buck when making paid ads. Think of your content like building blocks - mix, match and build. Paid 3 UGC creators for unboxing and testimonial videos? Great. Stack clips from all 3 into a testimonial collage or a split screen of different customers unboxing. And if you're running creative reports regularly (*cough* on MagicBrief), you’ll start spotting trends in what actually works for your brand - so that you can do more of it 🙂↕️

    I stopped dead in my tracks seeing this ad (and I bet their thumbstop ratio is off the charts) but ended with a big ol’ smile on my face. 💥CONCEPT: Controversial hook ⭐️ BRAND: Threadheads 🤔 WHY IT WORKS: Hooks you in with a controversial headline but keeps the bit going for a bit of harmless, product centric fun.
