Our aeromedical operations have been temporarily suspended due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred. But the east coast based aircraft (and staff) are all safely tucked away and we will be back online once the storm passes.

Australian air evacuation organisation MEDICAL RESCUE is now delivering its life-saving medtech services to Saudi Arabia. 🇸🇦✅ When accidents occur, Medical Rescue leaps into action 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Founded in 2003 by co-founders Dr Glenn McKay and Michael Smith, the Queensland company retrieves sick and injured patients from remote locations. The company established its first international air ambulance service in 2008. ✈🚁⛑ The two-time Australian Export Awards winner has now been repatriating patients back to safety for almost 20 years; providing services to government, the Australian Defence Force, construction firms, and oil and gas companies across Australia, the #Pacific and #SoutheastAsia. Now, its services are available in one of the world’s hottest and harshest environments – the deserts of #SaudiArabia. Medical Rescue was recently awarded a contract to provide medical services on a major infrastructure project for Saudi Aramco. The company will set up local medical teams to provide clinical support. And in an Australian-first, Australia-based teams will provide telehealth and perform remote digital diagnostics. 👩🏻⚕️👨🏻⚕️ Learn more about how Medical Rescue took flight in Saudi Arabia: https://ow.ly/309850TMggY Austrade Middle East, Africa and Pakistan | Australian Trade and Investment Commission | Carmel Akhavari | MEDICAL RESCUE Saudi Arabia

Medical Rescue (Saudi Arabia) is pleased to announce its entry into the remote medical services sector in Saudi Arabia with the award of a multi-year contract to support Sicim Nesma Partners JV for the construction of EPC packages 10 and 14 of the important Saudi Aramco Master Gas System (MGS III) project. Medical Rescue is an approved Remote Area Clinic (RAC) provider with Johns Hopkins Aramco Hospital and has already deployed initial resources to support the early stages of camp construction. This significant project involves laying pipelines; over a total of 522 km and will see Medical Rescue resources rolled out to support work camps and high risk activities along the length of the project. It is anticipated that the contract to provide emergency response and workplace health and safety services, will ramp up to include a fleet of ambulances and several medical facilities at key camp locations. Helicopter Emergency Medical Services provided by Medical Rescue are also under consideration given the geographical challenges in the mountainous terrain. Dr Glenn McKay, Managing Director “ we are honoured to have been selected by Sicim / Nesma Partners to provide the medical support to such an important Aramco project in Saudi Arabia. We look forward to working closely with the Health and Safety personnel to ensure a safe and high quality medical service is present 24/7 to care for the thousands of people working on this key Aramco project“
