We were thrilled to attend the 6th Asia Pacific Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) Conference in Sydney recently. This key event gathered researchers, clinicians, allied health professionals, families, and service providers from across the Asia Pacific to improve understanding and support for people with Prader-Willi Syndrome. Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) is a rare genetic condition affecting approximately 1 in 10,000 to 1 in 30,000 people globally. In Australia, at least 261 cases were genetically confirmed by 2010, with many more individuals likely affected. The conference provided invaluable insights into managing and supporting this complex condition. Trent, Jess and Shaniece attended to engage in discussions on the latest research and best practices to enhance care for those living with PWS. We are dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving outcomes for the Prader-Willi Syndrome community. We look forward to integrating these insights to better support our customers and their families. #Multicap #PWS #PraderWilliSyndrome #DisabilitySupport

Our talented Centre of Creative Arts (COCA) artists from our Eight Mile Plains and Kuraby community hubs have completed a fantastic project as part of Artforce Brisbane, transforming two traffic signal boxes into vibrant works of art. This creative journey involved thoughtful designs that reflect both personal identities and the values of COCA and Multicap. After meticulous preparation, the artists brought their visions to life, adding a burst of colour and creativity to the streets of Sunnybank and Rochedale. These stunning pieces not only brighten the local area but also stand as symbols of community and collaboration. Well done to our amazing artists! 👏 #COCA #ArtforceBrisbane #CommunityArt #Multicap
