News Corp Australia is meeting unprecedented demand for #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday with an all-of-network campaign, giving #retail partners the power to reach over 17.6 million* Australians. For the first time, News is rolling out an integrated, multi-platform approach across digital and print, anchored by news.com.au Checkout – the go-to for more than 10,000 curated deals, product reviews, and real-time ‘Breaking Sales’ updates. This will allow #consumers to find the very best deals to spend smart and save big. Jessica Gilby, National Head of Retail & Digital Growth said: “Our all-of-network strategy serves two purposes. Firstly, it empowers Aussie consumers to navigate the rising cost of living by highlighting smart spending opportunities, strategic gift planning and value-focused household purchases.” She added: “While for our #retail partners, this strategy ensures they are part of this critical sales conversation, so when shoppers are ready to spend, their brands will be front of mind.” Also new this year is a 12-page wrap in The Daily Telegraph, Herald Sun, The Courier-Mail and The Advertiser highlighting the best deals across key categories as selected by news.com.au Checkout. The wrap will be published in the lead up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday on November 22. Last week, Vogue Australia American Express Fashion's Night Out celebrated its 15th year in Australia, packed with shoppable runways, live entertainment, fashion masterclasses, and exclusive in-store experiences for fashion lovers. #Toblerone, a supporting partner of Vogue American Express Fashion's Night Out, set up a stunning golden prism at Pitt Street Mall, where people enjoyed praline samples and took photos of the golden setup. Toblerone's #NeverSquareDesignerAward was announced on the Vogue stage, won by the incredible Erik Yvon for his fresh take on Toblerone's iconic packaging. This award celebrates the creativity of Australia's top designers, as they push the boundaries of design to reinvent a classic. Erik’s designs will be hitting stores like David Jones, just in time for the holiday season. One participant summed it up perfectly, "I always thought of Toblerone as something to snack on while watching TV, but these new designs make it something I’d proudly display or even pair with Champagne for special occasions. It just feels luxurious!" During the same week, Kate Winslet, Vogue Australia's latest cover star, made an appearance in Sydney for a special Vogue Q&A about her new film Lee. She was joined by Vogue Australia's Edwina McCann, Antony Penrose, son of Lee Miller and custodian of the Lee Miller Archives, and producer Kate Solomon. The event attracted Aussie stars like Mia Wasikowska and Maia Mitchell along with local distributor STUDIOCANAL Australia & NZ, who were captivated by Winslet’s portrayal of Lee Miller, the famous photographer and wartime journalist.
