The NextEd team, past and present, would like to extend the biggest thanks to Glenn Elith, who today is stepping down as CEO of the company after almost 13 years of incredible service.  Starting out as CFO of the RedHill Education Limited in 2012, Glenn took on the CEO position after only 2 months into his tenure and began transforming the company into one of Australia’s most respected education operators. His dedication to creating a positive and high performance culture empowered employees to take bold risks and enabled RedHill to become the benchmark of a high quality education provider, and a leader within its sector. Having grown the business to nearly 1000 employees, Glenn guided Redhill through the challenges of COVID, and through an acquisition with iCollege. We emerged as the NextEd Group, stronger and larger than ever, with an expanded national footprint and diverse course offering. Glenn is embarking on a global travel adventure with his wife Kim, and taking an extended period off to explore the world and find new challenges.  We give our sincere thanks to Glenn for everything he has done for NextEd, RedHill and the hundreds of people who have worked with us. And most of all, we congratulate Glenn for successfully leading a company that has transformed hundreds of thousands of lives through high quality educational experiences. Your impact has been far greater than you will ever know. Thank you, Glenn!

NextEd's Gold Coast campus is being illuminated for the next 3 weeks. With over 100 artists in more than 40 different locations across Southport CBD, the 2024 BIG CITY LIGHTS* is back for a second year bigger and brighter. There are large-scale projections that re-interpret building facades, surround sound audio works that envelope the CBD in sonic waves, and interactive installations, films from across the country and so much more! Our Gold Coast campus is being used as a canvas for multiple projections, and the laneway next to our campus (Regent Lane) is also a key participation area with audio works and interactive installations. Welcome to the Gold Coast! NextEd is thrilled to launch our brand new campus this week in the bustling city of Southport. The campus features a spacious layout with 4 floors and 23 classrooms over 2065 sqm. We will be training domestic and internationals students on campus via our RTO's: Greenwich College and Celtic Training. Alongside the flash new classrooms, our new campus features state of the art commercial kitchens and health care labs for our hospitality and aged care courses. With capacity for more than 850 students at any given time, we are able to train thousands of students each week. Staff and students are thrilled with the upgrade, and our first students of campus love it! Congratulations to the opps team for bringing this vision to life! Shin Shimizu, Shauna Crabbe

Today our amazing team at Academy of Interactive Technology launch their new campaign 'Creatives See the World Differently'. The ads feature AIT students, and their artworks, and bring their visions to life in the real and digital worlds. Our global team at Go Study Australia is launching a wonderful initiative to support an incredible non-profit called Edudown in Chile. Their mission is to assist children with Down Syndrome, and provide support for families in need. Go Study has been active in Chile for more than 5 years, offering Australian education opportunities to thousands of prospective students. It is wonderful to see the team working with the local community to support local initiatives.

We are so proud of our team at Greenwich College for expanding their offering to include health and care courses. Australia has such a huge, unmet demand for workers in aged care and allied health services, and we are excited to train the next generation of carers. This week, we open our specialised Health Lab in our multi-floor Melbourne campus. Enrolments are coming in fast and the support from our agent network is really encouraging.

NexEd is please to release some positive news in our latest trading update:   > Successfully secured regulatory approval for the three high demand international student vocational healthcare courses, set to launch in March 2024. >New international student enrolments grew by 7% in the December 2023 quarter compared to previous quarter. >International vocational student numbers have grown in the last two intakes (November 2023 and January 2024) and are expected to grow further in the upcoming March intake. > Expect to report a 36% yoy increase in revenue of approximately $59.2 million in H1 FY24 (H1 FY23: $43.6 million), in line with guidance.   Read more in the update attached.
