He was a star of Australia's U23 and U17 teams and made his West Ham United FC debut at just 18 years of age, but in 2011 Dylan Tombides life was turned upside down when he received a diagnosis of testicular cancer following a routine drug test during the Under-17 FIFA World Cup. Despite a courageous three-year battle, he tragically succumbed to the illness at the age of 20 in 2014. We look back on the life of Dylan told through those who knew and loved him best, and how 10 years on since his unfortunate passing his memory still lives on through the DT38 Foundation. 📺https://lnkd.in/gdZRx3fZ

16-year-old Lamine Yamal stepped out at #EURO2024 and showed the world exactly what he’s made of ✨ His first major tournament for Spain. The youngest ever to win a major international trophy. His first goal, a worldie, against France in the semi-final. The youngest-ever goalscorer in a men’s major tournament. His assist in the final, a day after turning 17, putting it on a plate for friend Nico Williams. Spain played seven. They won seven. With a teenager at the heart of it all. A beautiful story written in Germany 📖
