🏃♀️ 🏃♂️ Loved seeing our Sydney team participate in the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Sydney last week! Along with other 12,000 runners at Centennial Park, we had the opportunity to spend a great time outside of work with our peers, compete in the popular 5.6-kilometre race, and celebrate afterwards. A great way to promote better health and wellbeing in the workplace, while cultivating camaraderie and a positive working culture! #TeamSpirit Simon Nicholls Cristina Atance Shifa Ahmed Simon GAUDIN Jessica Hui (GAICD) Brendan Ng William Chen Bernadette Gonzalves Jack Lyons Jacob Dickson

The next train arriving is the Roma Street train, stopping only at this station! 🚆🙌 Our D&C Subcontractor for Cross River Rail TSD, the CBGU JV @crossriverrail team, celebrated a significant achievement on the weekend, welcoming the first train into the project’s new underground tunnel at Roma Street. This event is the culmination of considerable collaboration and work to date across all aspects of the project and there have been many highlights since the team first mobilised. From breaking ground, excavation, tunnelling, structural works, rail fit out; through to electrical works, commissioning and completions – these and many more moments have been critical to enabling the team to successfully reach this historic milestone. At Pacific Partnerships we are proud of our employees who have contributed to this city-shaping piece of infrastructure and look forward to ushering in the next phase of works. 🌟 Celebrating work/Life balance at CIMIC Group Limited companies EIC Activities and Pacific Partnerships 🌟 Last month, Lucy Luxton, our Manager of People & Capability, returned to work after welcoming her new baby! 🍼 Upon her return Lucy had this to say: “EIC Activities and Pacific Partnerships have been amazing, offering 16 weeks of paid parental leave, flexible work options, keeping in touch days, and employee discounts through our One Rewards program.” While on leave, Lucy was promoted to a higher position, recognizing her outstanding performance and supporting the career advancement of female talent. Since returning, she's been working part-time, which has greatly helped her transition back to work and balance her new routine at home. Lucy's village continues to grow with a supportive work environment and colleagues offering advice on navigating life as a working parent. During Lucy's leave, Helena Mikhael, our Senior HR Business Partner, stepped in to cover the role. Helena enjoyed the diversity of the role and collaborating with key stakeholders across the Group. This parental leave cover allowed both Lucy and Helena to step into new roles and support each other through their transitions. As Lucy settles back into her role, Helena is preparing to go on parental leave to welcome her first child! Helena said: “Twelve months ago I made the decision to take the lead role in managing the HR function at EIC Activities and Pacific Partnerships. “During the past year, I’ve had the valuable opportunity to work with many great leaders, as well as increasing my understanding of how the CIMIC Group operating companies work together to lead the engineering and construction industry. I have continuously felt supported during my time at EIC Activities and Pacific Partnerships and now look to focus on the transition and handover back to Lucy, preparing to start my next exciting journey of parenthood.” #WorkLifeBalance #ParentalLeave #CareerGrowth #SupportiveWorkplace

🎉 Congratulations to the team at the North East Link project as they celebrate the start of tunnelling with TBMs Zelda and Gillian. Pacific Partnerships is proud to be part of the Spark consortium delivering the missing link for Victoria. Check out the action here: https://lnkd.in/geWTRf8M
Breaking news! 🗞️ Our first tunnel boring machine helping dig the North East Link tunnels has started its 6.5km journey to Bulleen! In keeping with tradition the 2 massive TBMs were named before tunnelling. Their names are Zelda and Gillian after two groundbreaking local women in Melbourne's north east. TBM Zelda and TBM Gillian will dig approximately 10 metres per day and install tunnel walls made of approximately 44,000 individual concrete segments made locally in Benalla. Once complete the North East Link twin tunnels will take 15,000 trucks off local roads and save drivers up to 35 minutes. Learn more https://bit.ly/4cv9Him

🏆 We are so proud of CMET - Canberra Metro's O&M team - for their amazing contribution to inclusion and community through this authentic and respectful rail safety program. Congratulations on your impactful Student Accessibility Inclusion Liaison (SAIL) program, delivered primarily to students by CMET's own Customer Service Officer, Campbell. Well done! 🎉
We are thrilled to have won the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) ‘Keeping Communities Safe On & Around Rail (TrackSAFE Foundation)Award.’ This award is in recognition for our Student Accessibility Inclusion Liaison (SAIL) program! The SAIL program, developed to support young adults with additional needs, combines theoretical and practical activations to promote rail safety. Students living with a disability record public service announcements on safety and etiquette that are played at light rail stops during the week leading up to International Day of People with Disability. With over 300 students reached since its inception in 2022, the SAIL program has truly made a significant impact. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in making this program such a success. We’d like to recognise all the other worthy nominees in this important category & also thank ARA & Tracksafe.

🙌 Some more good news from our Glenrowan Solar Farm Community Benefit Sharing Program! Wangaratta Landcare and Sustainability (WLS) is a local volunteer group whose mission it is to protect and regenerate the natural environment. Three WLS initiatives received funding through this year’s program: - ⚡ Planning Household Electrification – advice on how to set up an efficient, economical, healthy all-electric home to help our local community switch their homes over to electric power - 🌱 Bush Regeneration – Three Mile Creek Site - 🌲 Restoring One Mile Creek. WLS vice president Mary Reid said the group is delighted to receive the grants: “With the help of this fund, we can’t wait to see our community upskill its capability to ‘go electric’; and to care for its precious natural bush and waterways. Here is a snapshot of our progress so far!” #Wangaratta #Glenrowan #solar #positivelegacy #communitybenefit
