Another blue tree 💙 Another site that is sparking conversations 💬 UGL team members had a fantastic time painting another tree for The Blue Tree Project, a movement dedicated to sparking conversations around mental health and encouraging people to speak up when facing challenges. 🗣️💬 This striking blue tree now stands at the entrance of Neoen Australia's Collie Battery project in Western Australia, acting as a powerful conversation starter for everyone on site. Since 2019, over 1,350 blue trees have been painted across Australia, serving as reminders to prioritise mental well-being and suicide prevention. At UGL, we are deeply committed to the mental health of our people. Through our Employee Assistance Program, confidential support is available 24/7 to all employees and their families. No one should face life’s challenges alone. https://okt.to/5LCwFP #unitewiththeverybest #BlueTreeProject #MentalHealthAwareness

Auckland One Rail, UGL and ComfortDelGro transport operations business, welcomed electric passenger trains to Pukekohe Station in Auckland’s south for the first time earlier in February. This means that the entire Auckland One Rail passenger network is electrified and customers can travel from Pukekohe Station right into the heart of New Zealand’s largest city without having to change trains. Congratulations to all involved, including KiwiRail and Auckland Transport, on this achievement. #unitewiththeverybest #PublicTransport #Auckland #Rail #TransportOperations
History was made this morning when the FIRST EVER electric passenger train departed from Pukekohe Station at 05:11, travelling to Waitematā (Britomart). Onboard crew were driver Dion Lynch and train manager Cameron. Also taking the historic trip were local Franklin Ward Councillor Andrew (Andy) Baker, AOR CEO Martin Kearney and COO Gavin Panter FCIRO FCILT (not pictured). Meanwhile, other members of the senior leadership team Lisa D'Oliveira, Louise Pengelly and Gary Ryan travelled in the opposite direction, taking the first train at 05:30 from Waitematā (Britomart) Station, to Pukekohe. They spent time at Pukekohe welcoming customers back to their local community station after a 2.5 year break while works to electrify the Pukekohe to Papakura train track were completed. It was an exciting day for AOR teams and our customers, who are very happy to have access to their local station again! #earlymorning #metrorail #pukekohe #community
