We recently co-hosted a meeting at Bowen Neighbourhood Centre with Greater Whitsunday Communities ., bringing together local employers and stakeholders to tackle the region’s growing accommodation shortage 🏡 The lack of affordable housing is impacting business growth and making it difficult to recruit essential workers like teachers, police, and healthcare workers. Local leaders called for urgent engagement with council to address the crisis and attract the necessary investment. #workforceaccommodation #regionaldevelopment #greaterwhitsundays
