🏅 The roadmap for Brisbane 2032 has been unveiled and we’re excited the state is back on track to deliver a Games that will proudly showcase Brisbane and Queensland to the world. Congratulations to the Queensland Government for their 2032 Delivery Plan which maximises the benefit of the Games across the state.   With three offices and a team of 200 from north to south Queensland, RP Infrastructure is ready and raring to go with our support for the pivotal infrastructure earmarked for the Gold Coast, Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba, Cairns, Townsville, and Mackay. Having supported many projects across these cities and surrounding areas, we’re thrilled to see the infrastructure improvements planned for these communities.   With a new Brisbane Stadium greenlit, thriving precincts, accommodation villages, sporting venues up and down the coast, all connected by robust transportation networks - the vision to deliver for 2032 and Beyond is inspiring.   Thanks to the IAQ (Infrastructure Association of Queensland Inc) for hosting this morning’s 2032 Industry Breakfast. RP Infrastructure were engaged early on the new UNSW CBD Campus fit out - the brief was ambitious and the program tight!     From concept to completion, this fit out exemplifies precision, innovation and attention to detail, made possible with a clear functional briefing, definitive deliverables and effective alignment of the project team.     The result? A finished space perfectly suited to one of the most prestigious learning institutions in NSW.     It’s not often that the final build surpasses the perfection of the original renders, but this project is a testament to what’s possible when vision meets craftsmanship.    “This project kicked off with high expectations and an ambitious program,” says David Wiles, Director at RP Infrastructure. “We knew that we had to get the brief detailed and endorsed through prompt end user engagement, then ensure we had the right team to deliver. And deliver we did.”    Special credit and thanks on the delivery of this extraordinary CBD campus facility for UNSW goes to: DesignInc Sydney, ADP Consulting, Wilde and Woollard (NSW) Daniel Kirris @UNSW and MPA.

Improving connectivity, economic viability and planning flexibility in precinct developments are priorities for industry leaders who met at the Property Council NSW Precincts Outlook Breakfast in Sydney yesterday.    The event, sponsored by RP Infrastructure, considered the role of the public and private sector in delivering future-ready precincts.   Key takeaways from the panel included:   - Precinct approval frameworks must be adaptable to changes in use as priorities can shift during the often-lengthy development period.   - A “community dividend” is important in brownfield redevelopments to ensure the precinct is embraced.   - Greater understanding is needed between the public and private sector to ensure precinct and planning aims are balanced against viable returns on investment.    - Streamlining planning proposals will directly reduce project timelines and cost.   - A well-connected, accessible public domain is vital to creating a successful precinct.   Thanks to keynote Nicholas Wolff, and panellists Alex Belcastro, Alice Drew, Anita Mitchell and Chris Bain for the insightful discussion.   And thanks also to our guests including Juey Thanyakittikul, Alan Beaver, John Ward, Vivian Sin, Brad Milner, Chris Crick, Tim Pike, David Wiles, Patries Twaalfhoven, Gideon Butow, Alison Holland, Katharina Kister, and Peter Fleming.

A wonderful initiative from Health Infrastructure commissioning four artists with local connections to create artworks for the Gunnedah Hospital Redevelopment, as part of the Arts in Health program.     The works, to be featured throughout the facility including emergency, birthing and paediatrics, help to create welcoming and warm spaces, improving the patient, staff and visitor experience.      As the project manager for the Gunnedah Hospital Redevelopment, and several other regional health projects, the RP Infrastructure team is privileged to work alongside Health Infrastructure, integrating aspects of local community and landscape into all hospital projects.  Joelle Jello Christian Weitz
