Let's talk about last week... 140 attendees, 16 industry exhibitors, 15 presentations, a live safety demonstration with (planned) fire, and a very merry happy hour! Our sector has never had to be more resilient and innovative at the same time, but South Australia's craft spirit producers continue to deliver that in spades and our biggest ever industry conference to date was a testament to this. Our speaker lineup didn't just look good, our speakers truly engaged our audience and gave them up to the minute inspiration and knowledge relevant to the growth of their distillery businesses. We also acknowledge that none of this would have been possible without our industry and associate partners who contribute specialty industry knowledge and support for the distilling industry in SA - CCL Label, Manildra Group, Aon, Parallax Design, P4B Solar, BDO, Fever-Tree, Wallmans Lawyers, Gorilla Products, Bintani, Wilmar International, Global Oak Imports, Uniquepack - a TricorBraun Company, Australian Distillers Association, SafeWork SA & Department of State Development. And a special thanks goes to Department of Primary Industries and Regions who have been with our association from the start, helping us navigate our implementation of our 10 year Industry Blueprint and becoming a financially sustainable and relevant association for our sector. We can't wait to continue to deliver a range of events throughout the year that connect, engage and upskill our industry further. Stay tuned for more updates throughout 2024 and beyond.

Midwifery caseload models are important for women and midwives. But, we need to evaluate the workload intensity to minimise burnout and maximise the benefits of this model of care. The Augusta Zadow award from SafeWork SA will be used to undertake this important work. Jackie Wood Nicola Williams Micah Peters ANMF (SA Branch)
