We launched our state-of-the-art healthcare logistics warehouse in Melbourne today! 🏭🎉 Located within the Tullamarine Airport Business Park, this custom-built new distribution centre is a TGA licensed, 10,000m² site specifically designed to support life sciences and healthcare logistics and the unique requirements of customers, including close neighbour and valued strategic partner CSL. It boasts impressive operational capabilities, including controlled ambient, cold chain, and ultra-low frozen product storage. These features allow us to handle a wide range of sensitive healthcare products with the utmost precision and care. Another standout feature of this facility is its strategic location, providing unparalleled access to major transportation hubs across Melbourne including the airport, seaport, rail terminals, and critical road-freight arterials. Sustainability is also at the core of our operations, with the facility incorporating various eco-friendly practices and technologies and is in the process of securing 5-star green rating. The site gets 100% of its power from the Melbourne Airport's independent solar power network, and has access to 20,000 litres of sustainable sourced water through it's site specific irrigation system and smart use of grey water. We were honoured to have some special guests and VIP's join our Toll team including Managing Director Alan Beacham, Executive Director Mikiyasu Yuasa, President of Goverment and Defence Perry Singh, and General Manager of Healthcare, Michael Lawrence, to officially open the facility, and see some of the advanced technology available to assist government and industry with future healthcare logistics challenges. #proudtobetoll #healthcare #logistics #tullamarineairport
