Construction of Tydal Woody Point has officially started, marking our 13th project on the Moreton Bay Peninsula – and one of three active construction sites currently underway. More than 60 per cent of the 104 luxury apartments in Tydal's first stage have already sold, highlighting the appeal of the Peninsula's coastal lifestyle just 20 minutes from Brisbane Airport. We also have 32 ultra luxury apartments at Orilla under construction and have topped out Marin on the Scarborough waterfront, which sold out before construction commenced. CEO Brett Robinson says our construction capability allows us to move forward with our own teams and maintain a 100 per cent completion record. “The majority of our construction team live locally and being able to move seamlessly to a new project provides them with job security and magnifies the community-wide economic benefits of building new homes," he says. Our Development Analyst Jason Cheung's dedication to the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of the property industry is truly inspiring. In his eight years at Traders In Purple, Jason's become integral to the new business team, working on everything from site acquisitions to architectural feasibility. His day often involves preliminary due diligence, market research, and the critical 'number crunching' that turns concepts into reality. But it’s not just about the numbers for Jason, he thrives on seeing projects transform from ideas on paper to buildings that become homes to families. For those entering the industry, Jason's advice is to, "Hold a 'can do' attitude and be ready for challenges – the result is rewarding." We look forward to following Jason's continued growth within the new business team and are proud to have him driving our projects forward. Thank you for contributing to the future of Traders.

Emerging talent in the property industry would do well to spend time with our National Pre-Construction Manager, Mark Gordon . With 35 years of diverse experience, ranging from quantity surveyor to project bid leader, Mark has a real dedication to all things building - and it shows. When he's not deep in his own work, developing cost plans and providing design input across our projects, he's mentoring others, sharing his knowledge, and making sure the wider team have all the tools to succeed. His favourite project to date has been Tydal Woody Point, where Mark's been able to measure the success of systems and processes he's implemented - preparing the team for even bigger Traders projects on the horizon. Outside of work, Mark is a dedicated family man, with four children and one grandchild who are his pride and joy. His advice for those entering the industry? "Work hard, have a thirst for knowledge, and back yourself." Mark's commitment to his work and his team is matched by his excitement for the future growth and success of Traders. We're proud to have him on our side, driving our projects forward and mentoring the next generation of leaders.

We're making our inner-Brisbane debut on one of the best and most iconic riverfront sites in the city. We've officially acquired a 1.25ha waterfront parcel in West End for a new benchmark apartment project. Located at 117 Victoria Street, the site fronts the riverfront bike path and proposed second West End Ferry Terminal, just 4km from the Brisbane CBD. “This is a spectacular site, one of the largest on the Brisbane riverfront to come to market in recent years. We have long wanted to make our mark in Brisbane’s inner-city but we were prepared to wait until the right site came along," says Traders In Purple Director George Geagea. Our team of architects, landscape designers and urban planners are now working to create a project that does full justice to this unrepeatable location and meets the needs of owner-occupiers seeking a lifestyle destination in the inner-city. The site adds to our $4 billion portfolio of projects across Australia, including Queensland developments Orilla and Tydal, both in Woody Point in Moreton Bay. The sale was brokered by Savills agent Tim Grosmann. Pictured is Director Charles Daoud and Development Director Alex Black on the Brisbane Riverwalk, alongside the site.
