While I don’t get the pleasure of flying at the pointy end of the plane these days since joining not for profit land, my temperature check on how gender equality is going at senior levels of corporate Australia is always to look at how many women are in business class - as I take myself through to the back of the plane 😊. Possibly not the most reliable statistic, but I’m always interested and curious. On both flights this week there was only one female at the pointy end of the plane out of more than a double digit number of total business class seats. I suspect we still have a ways to go.
