#ASXNews Trinex Minerals Limited is pleased to provide its Quarterly Activities Report for the quarter ended 30 September 2024. Dudley Lithium Project, Kangaroo Island, South Australia -- • Option secured to #acquire up to a 90% interest in the Dudley Lithium Project (Dudley) on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. • The Dudley Lithium Project contains thick fractionated pegmatites that strike up to six kilometres in length and have never been drill-tested. Canadian Lithium Projects, Northwest Territories -- • Assay results from pegmatite outcrops and boulder samples taken in the northern half of the Halo-Yuri Project have confirmed the presence of widespread high-grade #lithium mineralisation. • Confirmation that the OIG Prospect has scope for significant lithium mineralisation. • Utilising Potassium/Rubidium ratio values from the #assays has highlighted areas for additional mapping and sampling to determine where further mineralised corridors are present in the project area. • The widespread mineralisation confirms the potential of the Halo-Yuri Project to host a significant #Lithium resource. • The highest-grade assay returned from the sampling is 5.1% Li₂O from sample AA027684, with the overall average assay from mineralised samples of 1.7% Li₂O. • Acquisition of the East Yellowknife Lithium Project, which will increase Trinex land position in the region to over 650km2. Gibbons Creek Uranium Project, Athabasca Basin -- • Preliminary interpretation of VTEM data identified numerous conductors in the Airstrip Prospect at the Gibbons Creek #Uranium Project. • Breaks in the conductor trends associated with interpreted cross cutting structures provide exciting drilling targets. Corporate -- • Cash balance at the end of September 2024 of A$1.3 million. Commenting on the #Quarter, #TX3 Managing Director, Will Dix, said: “We are very pleased to have announced our expanded lithium portfolio in South Australia and Canada to broaden our energy minerals portfolio. “The strategic addition of this under-explored tenure in South Australia brings us the diversification to run consecutive exploration programs across seasons with our highly prospective Canadian tenure. "We are confident that we now have a strong portfolio of energy minerals projects in the right geology and in complementary jurisdictions, leaving Trinex poised for discovery." Trinex Minerals Limited's ASX announcement dated 14 October highlighted the acquisition of two lithium projects. One of these is the Dudley Lithium Project, situated on Kangaroo Island, South Australia. #TX3 has the option to acquire up to a 90% interest in ths highly prospective project, containing multiple pegmatite systems that are apparent at surface for over 6 kilometres in strike extent and up to 80 metres thick at surface. The area has a long history of historical mining for lithium tourmalines and kaolin primarily from strongly weathered surface exposures of the Dudley pegmatite, but also from other pegmatites across the project. Trenching of the Dudley pegmatite revealed widths of up to 80m. Lithium tourmalines indicate the pegmatites are highly fractionated and they are commonly associated with spodumene mineralised pegmatites. Exploration has commenced at Dudley with surface soil sampling being completed across the tenure, with drilling planned to commence later this year once standard statutory approvals are received.
