It’s incredible to see the skills and confidence these young people have gained through hands-on experience, and #TeamTyree look forward to seeing where their futures in trade will lead. Here’s to building strong careers in the Southern Highlands! #FutureReady

I'm incredibly proud of our 15 Southern Highlands high school students who successfully completed the RIEP "Try a Trade" program in welding and fabrication! Over the past six weeks, these students dedicated themselves to hands-on workshops at TAFE Moss Vale, mastering welding and fabrication fundamentals and crafting their own fire pits to take home—along with their new welding masks and gloves. Today, we wrapped up the program with an immersion day at Tyree Transformers, where students explored potential career paths right here in their community. A huge thank you to TAFE for delivering an engaging course and to Tyree Transformers for welcoming our cohort. We’re excited to see some of these students pursue work experience, and perhaps even apprenticeships, with Tyree in the near future! This RIEP program was also proudly delivered by Regional Economic Development under the Targeted Workforce Development Scheme. #vocationaltraining #careers #RIEP

Thanks to the EQL Ergon Energy team at yesterday's Distribution Improvement Forum (DIF) for sharing their field knowledge and experience in delivering power to North Qld. Tyree demonstrated their new kiosk substation featuring a KNAN transformer for fire and environmental hazard reduction, Internal Arc Contained MV RMU, 50kA rated LV Switch-panel and a kiosk designed to perform in the far north Queensland environment. #TyreeTransformers, #Energy, #Ergon,

Tyree has wrapped up its successful participation in the #EEA2024 Conference, held in Christchurch. As New Zealand moves closer to its goal of net-zero carbon emissions, this year’s event offered a valuable platform for leaders to come together and exchange ideas on building resilient energy solutions. Mark Whorwood, Chief Executive Officer for Tyree NZ, reflected: “The conference was a great reminder of how far we’ve come as an industry, but also how much more we can achieve by working together.” Scott Steele, Tyree General Manager of Sales, shared a similar sentiment: “The energy and ideas coming out of this conference were really encouraging, and Tyree are looking forward to continuing this enthusiasm with the opening of our New Zealand factory.” #EEA2024 provided the perfect stage to connect with our industry. Tyree NZ LTD look forward to continuing this connection with the grand opening of their new facility on the 14/11/12 where visitors will be welcomed to witness our cutting-edge facilities and commitment to excellence in transformer technology. At Tyree, we know that building strong teams goes beyond skill and experience—it’s about looking out for each other. This #RUOKDay2024, we’re encouraging #TeamTyree to check in with their mates. Whether you're in the workshop or the office, simply asking 'Are you OK?' can make a real difference. Not sure how to begin? Follow these 4 simple steps to start an R U OK? conversation: 1. Ask R U Ok? [How are you travelling?] 2. Listen [I'm here to listen if you want to talk more.] 3. Encourage Action [Have you spoken to your doctor about this?] 4. Check In [Just wanted to check in and see how you're doing?] You don’t need to be an expert to start the conversation. Just taking the time to listen and show you care might be exactly what a colleague needs! We all have what it takes to ask, “Are you OK?” #RUOK #TeamTyree #ruokanyday #TeamSupport #MentalHealth
