🚇 Big projects need strong partnerships! For years, VSL Australia and KELLER have worked side by side on some of Australia’s most significant Ground Engineering Projects. Recent collaborations include diaphragm wall construction for Melbourne’s North East Link and Sydney’s Metro West Projects, as well as ground improvement on Sydney’s New M6 Project. 🔑 What makes this partnership a success? Hear it straight from the people who make it happen - frontline workers, engineers, project leaders. 🎥 We’re launching a three-part video series where our teams share what makes this collaboration so strong - a shared mindset and values that drive quality, innovation and teamwork. Stay tuned - exciting stories ahead 😉

The viaduct is a key piece of infrastructure for Greater Western Sydney, connecting communities with large capacity, frequent services. VSL brought engineering innovation to this superstructure, using advanced techniques including a custom-built underslung 110-tonne temporary beam (UTB) and a 300-tonne crawler crane to lift and align each segment of the viaducts in place. In total,1101 precast concrete segments were produced at our bespoke yard off site, each segment measuring 10.85 metres wide, up to 3.2 metres long, and 2.4 metres high, and weighing up to 65 tonnes. A massive milestone for the project teams from VSL and CPB - Congratulations! 👏 👷 👷♀️ ✈️ #engineering #infrastructure #westernsydney #sydney #NSW #megaproject
Greater Western Sydney is now home to a modern engineering marvel, with the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport viaducts now complete. How were these superstructures built? Find out more 👇 What was needed: • 1101 precast concrete segments, each segment measuring 10.85 metres wide, up to 3.2 metres long, and 2.4 metres high, and weighing up to 65 tonnes • more than 52,000 tonnes of concrete to create these segments • 84 towering piers, weighing between 80 and 160 tonnes each and standing as high as 15.3 metres to support the segments, and using 96,250 tonnes of concrete • 1108 kilometres of tensioning cable, used to help ensure each span is self-supporting • more than 2500 workers over 16 months. On Thursday 21st November, we hosted the Recognition of Service event in Hobart, where our Managing Director, Andrew Manser recognized the dedication and achievements of our team. At VSL, we value the longevity, commitment, and in some cases, mobility, of our employees. Their hard work and resilience truly embody the core values of teamwork and trust that define VSL Australia. It’s always inspiring to hear stories from our employees about why they first joined the company and the projects they've been a part of. A heartfelt thank you to those who have been with us for over 10 and 20 years—your loyalty and passion have played a key role in shaping who we are today. Finally, a big thank you to Gabrielle POUPON, Sue Stelzer and Jenny Gimissis for their efforts in organizing the event. VSL Australia #Recognition

✨ Because supporting our young talents is essential, we were thrilled to host #BReady, an event dedicated to them. For making this first edition in Australia a successful event, we brought together three Bouygues Construction entities — A W Edwards, Bouygues Construction Australia, and VSL Australia — to make it a collective success! 🎯 The goal? To offer our apprentices, interns, and VIEs an enriching day to discover Bouygues, its values, and the growth opportunities within our teams. The event featured exciting activities, interactive quizzes, inspiring testimonials from our young talents, and engaging project presentations. 🙏 A huge thank you to our young talent, our speakers Jenny Gimissis, Lauriane Defrance, Suzy Chua and guests Gabrielle POUPON and Justin Smith for making this first international edition in Australia a success. #BouyguesConstruction #EarlyTalents #Teamwork #Innovation #Australia, Marielle Merlaud, Andrew Manser, David Myerscough

Thank you to everyone who supported and joined us for the 2024 Giant Steps Sailing Regatta. Together, we raised $60,000 for Giant Steps. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of Middle Harbour Yacht Club, the skippers and yacht owners, Zhik, our corporate sailing teams and guests, Giant Steps parents and volunteers, and entertainment by KEJAFI. A Giant thank you to David and Anna Trayner for hosting this fantastic event once again. Photos courtesy of Marg Fraser-Martin.
